It wasn't long before Ryker came back with the collection vials and supplies. He took her arm and applied the tourniquet in search for a vein. When he found one, he inserted the needle and Drew three vials of blood. While he did so, he watched Helen quietly.

Helen felt a little green as she saw all the blood that was taken out of her body, but she remained motionless. "Is this all you're going to do?"

"Do you see anybody?" Alexis asked, glancing around. She didn't hear anything, by that didn't mean no one was in sight.

Dimitri paused as he noticed her looking around. "I know you didn't just look around. I thought you had bad eyesight?" He teased gently. He then grinned as he stated, "I don't smell anyone, it's a lot better then sight, since a whiteness can be hiding in a darkened room." He reminded playfully.

"Are you being flippant with me child? I could wire your jaw shut and throw you in solitary confinement for a month. Perhaps then you'll school your tongue when you speak to me." Ryker said with barely contained anger.

"Unfortunately, that's our new reality. Almost to the point of a second entity. You must learn to share yourself with the beast, or it will devour you from within. " He said solemnly.

Laurel could not accept the truth of her reality, she wouldn't let hersell believe that she was anyone but herself. "If I've already become the creature they've made me, isn't there nothing more for them to do with me? I thought I heard them say that there would be more tests.
