" I believe you're certifiable! I can hear the police saying, 'Never be taken to the second location. There are no witness.'" Andorra said with a belly laugh. "If only I'd listened. Just think what I would have missed out on an the opportunity of meeting you, Alexis."

Dimitri sprung from the bed to his feet to follow after Zaine. "Which was should we look first? " He asked curiously.

"I know." Laurel stated gently. "It's alright, I suppose I'm still sore from the stiches." She thought aloud, hoping Madison would understand. She had almost forgotten how painful her wound had been when the medicine Ryker had given her finally wore off.

"No, but rather determintion to do what needs to be done. I was sent on this mission with you, for this reason, as it is an element you lack."
Aralyn replied harshly.

"You didn't get you second dose of pain meds with your meal?" Madison asked angrily.

Dimitri sprung from the bed to his feet to follow after Zaine. "Which was should we look first? " He asked curiously.

"Well, what can I say," Alex smirked as she flicked her hair over her shoulder.

"Um, I don't know. Maybe there's a map or something on a wall," Zaine said with a shrug. He stepped out into the hallway and looked left then right, trying to decide which way to go.

"Sir...." He bit his lip"I told you. It was just a stupid prank. I didn't mean anything by it. I didn't know you cared so much about one... Expendable guard, sir. I was minding my own business... I had gotten my new copy of Physics Today. Very good read, I would completely recommend it. Anyway he was walking by with coffee and BAM! No more Physics Today. I told him the cell door was defective. Swiped his key card and BAM! No more guard. I lost him. It was in the new wing. Oh! Speaking of the new wing, I think some of the structural design may be faulty. It's not the architects fault, there's a lot of drainage setting in that general area from water, ect. I'll email you what I've found. We can fix it or not fix it but if not the foundation might shift around or erode away.." He changed the subject to not leave things on an unhappy note.

Ryker clenched his teeth and moved his hand to the gun in his jacket midway through the incoherent ramble. He waited patiently until Sebastian had finally finished, before he grabbed the collar of his shirt with his free hand in order to pull him almost face to face. While he positioned the barrel of the gun at Sebastian's temple, he whispered through his clenched teeth as he cocked the gun. "Why?" He searched Sebastian's ebony eyes deeply while he waited for the answer.

"Well, what can I say," Alex smirked as she flicked her hair over her shoulder.

Ryker clenched his teeth and moved his hand to the gun in his jacket midway through the incoherent ramble. He waited patiently until Sebastian had finally finished, before he grabbed the collar of his shirt with his free hand in order to pull him almost face to face. While he positioned the barrel of the gun at Sebastian's temple, he whispered through his clenched teeth as he cocked the gun. "Why?" He searched Sebastian's ebony eyes deeply while he waited for the answer.

In one moment, before Sebastion could react, he was nose to nose with Ryker with something hard and cold pressed against the side of his head. He could easily guess what it was. He took a deep, shaky breath,"I-I had to find some way to talk to you in person. They wouldn't let me see you. They said you were busy. I didn't trust them to deliver my message. It's important sir." His gaze flicked over to glance at the gun and he gulped, his Adam's apple bobbing. "Sir? Could you remove that first? It's a little unnerving." He whispered.
(Not sure what to tell him... I'm thinking maybe he can request to leave the compound for a few months to visit his sister, who's dying and Ryker says no orrrrr I can take the plot a different way and have him tell Ryker about his missing son orrrrr I can figure something else out)

"Here, let me carry that," Haley offered, reaching out to take the food.

Amaryllis smiled slighty as she handed her the food. She knew Haley was too determined that nothing she said could change her mind. She just hoped Haley wouldn't completely cripple her the whole journey, Amaryllis was weak, but she too was determined.

Laurel slowly shook her head. "No, was I suppose to?" Judging Madison's sudden anger, she had meant to be given more medicine. She hadn't realized Ryker had cared enough to give her a second dose.
