Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"Oh, I was just waiting for the red carpet to be rolled out for me. Forget the trophy. " Andorra said with equal sarcasm, as she walked inside.
"Well you're hardly dressed for red carpet," Alexis retorted. She followed after Andorra and went to the nearest shelf. "Ain't this dandy," she murmured in admiration of all the books.

"Be careful, your bookworm is showing. " Andorra said with humor. She moved along looking at the shelves of books. She then caught the scent of Tiger. Dimitri? She thought to herself.

Alexis ignored the comment as she ran her fingers down the spines of the books closest to her, reading the titles as she went down the shelf.

Andorra looked back at Alexis and smiled widely. She whispered jokingly, "Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright, in the library studying under yonder light." She then point to the tables up ahead.

(I couldn't help it. :gig )

( Are you quoting a famous poem or something? You've quoted this before, and it sounds familiar but I can't place it )

In the couple minutes they had been in the library, Alexis had already read down the entire first shelf. She was now in a crouching position, skimming the bottom shelf's titles. "Dimitri? Here? I hadn't thought him the book reading type," she chuckled. She stood and looked to where Andorra was pointing.

( Yes, in part. I took artistic license and changed it a bit. It's William Blake's. Check my profile, I have the original poem there. :D )

"Our Tigger is growing up. He's using his mind, not just his instincts." Andorra said cheerfully.

"He's probably just reading Dr. Suess," Alexis said with humor. She looked back to Andorra. "Should I sneak up on him? See what he's reading before confrontation?" She suggested, smirking a bit.

Andorra grinned widely and nodded. She then gave a thumbs up for luck.

Dimitri turned another page, oblivious to the arrival of the others. Figuring the sounds he heard were Zaine somewhere in the library.

(HA as if Zaine would be that loud   )

Alexis stepped carefully across the room to where Dimitri sat, his back to them. She bent slightly at the waist, just enough to see what book he held, before leaning in closer to say, "Elements, eh?"
