Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

(Silkiiiiiiiiieeeee)

"Me too, probably." Yhgiilra said. "I mean, if my only job is to kill people, might as well do it. And look awesome because of my tail." She chuckled lightly. "Anyway, sorry for the depressing topic, but you wanted something relevant to life, so I'm going to go ahead and say it's your fault."
"Gotta face the facts sometime, right?" Allen forced a chuckle. "Because honestly, one of those two options is gonna kill us eventually. I doubt we'll be released to live out our lives and die of old age in a nursing home."

Haley smiled at her, pleased to be a confidant. She listened intently as Amaryllis talked, then waited a moment before carefully replying. "How old were you and Aneurin when Ryker," she paused, cleared her throat, then continued, glancing at Amaryllis as she talked to make sure she didn't seem upset, "when Ryker began his work?"

Amaryllis expression become thoughtful as she disguised her sadness. "I was only sixteen. As for Anuerin, I do not know. I've missed so much these past years I'm afraid I'll never gain memories of the life I didn't take part in, one where Anuerin became a monster to protect me from Ryker."

Lol!)

Soon, the trainers dismissed combat training. Madison smiled and stood up, "Alright, let's get you back to your cell. Have your meds kicked in yet?" She asked curiously.

"Oh? Well if you can wait until we get to the drop off point, I'd be more then happy to oblige you. I didn't know you liked physical pain so much, but to each their own. " Leverett said pleasantly, purposely misunderstanding what she'd meant by her statement.

"Yes, but not completely yet." Laurel smiled, finding herself eager to return.

Arayln kept her mouth shut, knowing nothing she said could change Leverett'a idiotic disposition.

Haley was unsure of what to say to that. The poor girl had been through so much, but she found herself wanting to ask more since she was getting answers. "If it's any comfort, you didn't miss much," she smiled sadly.

"Dying in a nursing home would be boring anyway." Yhgiilra said jokingly and sighed. "Though if we aren't killed by one of our targets and get really old we'll just be useless. So I wonder what would happen if we actually lived that long.."

Amaryllis sighed softly, before turning to Haley with round, sad eyes. "I know, but I've missed so much of Aneurin's life I don't even know who he is. And, now I'm afraid I never will."

(Where should I start with Cyra?)

Frowning, Haley slowed her step and tried to think of something to lift Amaryllis' sinking spirit. "As soon as we encounter civilization, we'll find help for us and Aneurin," she said decidedly. Of course, that was probably easier said than done. She wasn't sure how long it would be till they would come upon a city or town, and there was a large chance Ryker's men would find them before then. As for Aneurin, she had no idea what direction he had headed or what his exact plan was, and Amaryllis seemed to be ignorant of those facts as well.

"Boring? You can't be serious," Allen laughed. "If it looks like that's how our end will be, sitting in this cell as useless oldies, then we can just kill each other and not have to worry about waiting," he suggested, smiling broadly.

"Technically I can be serious. I mean, no matter what I say I could be serious about it, and I can continue to be serious throughout my life." Yhgiilra corrected him with a grin. "But anyways, back on topic. That would be the weirdest fight ever. Two old people trying to kill each other because they're tired of waiting." She laughed at how morbid that sounded. "That's not even a fight, really. Just a really weird favor."

"I think long before we're wrinkled and hunchbacked, we'll know whether we're gonna die in a fight or in a nursing home," Allen corrected her. "So, if we decide it's the nursing home path for us, I can beat you to a pulp and right before you die, give me all the venom you've got," he suggested, resting his chin on his fist and staring at her as he waited for an answer.
