"So, are we to be civilized? By that, I mean are you going to come with me of your own or do I have to go through the effort of subduing you?" Ryker asked tentatively. Either way, Aneurin was coming with him.

Alexis thought about his comment for a moment as she slowly turning to face him. "Indeed," she agreed with humor, shooting him a crooked smile.

Laurel watched Razeth with big eyes full of admiration for him; she didn't have anything more to say, and for once the silence didn't bother her. She was finally happy. Even in this cell she felt more free than she had ever felt while she was by Razeth's side.

Hearing the vehicle pull up the driveway Aralyn exited the building. She had changed into fresh clothes that flattered her features, and grabbed her hand in a bunch and squeezed it with a towel to help it dry quicker. "What took you so long?" She demanded, sounding only partially interested in knowing the answer.

Razeth leaned against the wall more comfortably. He looked to Laurel with admiration in his eyes. He reached over to clasp her hand gently to cox her to settle a bet closer to him. He was relieved to have her back in the cell safe with him.

Leverett stumbled slightly with his missed step at Aralyn's unexpected voice. He snapped his head in her direction in shock. "Wha..." He started, but changed his wording as he took in her appearance. "Why does it matter? So how about you do us both a favor and go jump off a short pier. That way I don't have to listen to your grating voice....unless you can breathe water and still talk. Besides, I don't answer to you. You're just a lab experiment too." He then continued moving up the steps to give her his back. She was so aggravating in every way imaginable.

"That depends," Anuerin began slowly, his mind secretly made that he would fight Ryker with everything that was in him. "I will come with you willingly and be the slave you expect me to be if you promise to never seek the girls." Even if Ryker promised, Anuerin was smart enough not to trust the word of a man like him.

" I think you already know my answer that question. So l'll not dignify it was a lie. You also know why I can't let the girls be free. I will not allow them to be used aginst me. Loan already has my first Generation mistakes to throw at me at will." Ryker replied with a calmness that contradicted what he truly felt inside.

"Besides 'indeed', 'okay' will answer pretty much anything. Or 'cool'. If someone is talking to you and you weren't really listening, just say either of those and you'll be safe," Alexis stated. "Unless they say their grandma died or something else tragic like that." She laughed at the thought and tried to recall if 'okay' or 'cool' had ever failed her.

"Ah, but what if they'd just asked if you wanted to commit a triple homicide or rob a bank? That would definitely not be 'cool' or 'okay' now would it?" Dimitri countered with a chuckle.

"Well if you're hanging out those kinds of people, then I'd hope you would be listening just a little bit more," Alexis giggled at the prospect.
