Haley weaved her way through various obstacles on the roof. The building was long, something she had realized from the ground. Long and perfect for running on. She stopped at the edge and a mischievous grin crossed her face as she calculated the distance between here and the next building. She moved a few yards back, then gave it her all as she ran, pausing barely at the edge to push off.

Dyrus had cleared the top in time to see Haley jump to the next building. He growled at the clever minx. He sprinted to close the distance, but stopped short of the edge. " You've led me on a merry chase. Are you ready to come home yet?" He called across the void that separated them. He took in her tented hair and smiled slightly. " your pictures don't do you justice. You're quite striking in person." He complemented.

Dyrus had cleared the top in time to see Haley jump to the next building. He growled at the clever minx. He sprinted to close the distance, but stopped short of the edge. " You've led me on a merry chase. Are you ready to come home yet?" He called across the void that separated them. He took in her tented hair and smiled slightly. " your pictures don't do you justice. You're quite striking in person." He complemented.

Haley landed with ease on the edge of the following building. Straightening, she turned to see who her pursuer was. He looked familiar, as she had seen him often enough in training. He was one of Ryker's best so it was no surprise that he had been sent on this little trip.
"Admit it, you're loving this!" She called out rather cheerfully. The pause in the chase gave her time to catch her breath and she took advantage of this fact, breathing deeply to refresh herself.

"That was one subtle transition," Alexis scoffed at his avoidance of her complement. She shoved a few books into place then stood to stretch her legs. "But you do got a point. Lamb isn't half bad when done right."

"I left him in the library with the short blonde, but I assume he isn't there anymore if you didn't see him when you met Donella," Zaine explained.
(I have a lab character, Allen. Haven't used him much but I'd be glad to pull him out for you )

Dimitri chuckled as he took possession of the books she'd pushed at him. "Well, I'm rather a blunt instrument in my thinking sometimes. I'll take yours and Martha's word on that. Since my experience has been through eating said article out of the magazine." He admitted quietly.

Andorra opened the door and held it for her friends. "Then we'll just have to go Safari and track him down." She said with delight.

Ashton was getting tired of the avoidance and cold shoulder. Surely not everybody knew she was toxic. And it wasn't like she drooled constantly. However she was a bit spitting mad at the moment. Pompous Nova and her stupid crush on the boss's kid. So cliche and pathetic to choose his comfort over her's. He was a traitor for goodness sake!

Donella smiled as she walked through the door, listening for anyone out and about besides the three of them in the hallways. Finding the scent of one person out of a group like the one that had been rescued from the labs was not an easy task.

Dyrus glanced down at the alleyway below and shrugged slowly. "Perhaps ." He answered elusively, as he also took full advantage of their respite. When he raised his gaze back on Haley, he grinned and nodded, "Ok, more then a little and less then a lot." He replied matter-of-factly.

Zaine, not much good at tracking on his best days, decided to let the felines handle this one.

Allen, feeling rather grand that he had been chosen over the guy next door on the hall of cells, drove the vehicle carefully towards the landing strip. Assuming there were cams all over the car as there were at the lab, he didn't quite put the pedal to the metal as he would have liked but he did speed along.

"Why not?" Nova asked, following him in and shutting the door so she could come over and take his hands "You aren't going to try anything if I let your hands free, are you?" Like he would say if he was she thought to herself afterward. 

Donella was silent as she listened to the other two talk and come to an agreement. She was glad it wasn't going to come to a fight, she hated fights though being tiny herself gave her the advantage over bigger people who expected her to be as delicate as her outer appearance suggested. 

"Because he wants to experiment on her, but he can't do both." He answered as he stood and waited for his hands to be freed without reply.
