Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Gideon whipped his hand on his shirt, it had grown clammy from nervousness and extended it to her. He held it there as a physical invitation to take the friendship he was offering. " I have been a voyeur of this world around me for some long. Help me find a reason to stop hiding within it Nora. I promise you wouldn't regret it." He pleaded softly.
Nova looked to his hand then bit at her lip before tentatively reaching for his hand. "I have told you, I am not a good friend. I can't be."

" Now you're the silly goose. I ment that you're not that mean and heartless, of course. " Ashton stated with a sigh.

(I don't know what you want me to do here. In Dyrus's mind, she made it abundantly clear she choose Anuerin. He downward spiraling and won't resurface for a while. )
"So It would be fine if you were dead?" Allen asked, purposefully misinterpreting her replies.

(Nothing, unless you had anything in mind. I'm just putting her posts here with Allen's for my convenience :P )

Haley stopped in the corridor where a hallway split off to the right. Surely she was overthinking this, but she felt terrible for not thanking him earlier. Sometimes the simplest things escaped her mind and it drove her mad. Mad, because, despite feeling the opposite, she may seem ungrateful. And that was the last thing she wanted to appear to Dyrus, especially after everything he'd done for her.

Gideon said gently with a pleasant smile. "Thank you Nova for giving me a chance. The hardest part is opening our doors wide enough to let someone else in."

Anuerin didn't answer; simply nodding his head in acknowledgement of his father's words.

Amaryllis walked beside Vasper in silence, unsure what could be said between them without disagreement. "Where's Dyrus?" She asked finally, curious to the reason why the two friends were separated.
(Skip to washed and dressed in fresh clothing?)

"He's not in a good place right now. I've never seen him this way. He was on the verge of violence." Vasper stated truthfully.

"Why is it, that our conversations together makes my head hurt at some point? Do you have a circular logic Allen. Just when you think you're getting somewhere, you come to find yourself right back where you started." Ashton said with humor. Purposely not addressing her death issue.

( Okay I was just making sure. :P )

Nova frowned and dipped her head again. "A chance? That may be all I can give, or take."

(Sure, please start.)

"Do you know why?" She inquired gently.

"Could be due to the fact that you were up all night?" Allen suggested. "Lack of sleep tends to do weird things to people."

Haley bit her lip hard as she considered turning off onto his hall. The want to thank him—the want for him—was irking her to no end, but something held her back. She didn't want to give him the wrong impression, showing up at his door to mutter a thank you should he misinterpret her reason for being there.
