Ryker moved closer to pull his son into his embrace. "I'm sorry Anuerin. We hurt most the ones we love sometimes. I have kept your wings all this time in a cryogenic chamber. I've been trying to figure a way to reattach them, but now I know for certain I can."

Vasper looked to Amaryllis's cheerful voice and smile. " Ok, good." He said with a shrug.

Anuerin's entire body tensed at Ryker's touch, before softening withen his embrace. He didn't hear what Ryker said, completely absorbed by the affectionate action. While Ryker was busy with his scientific discoveries Anuerin had grown up, but not in the mental meaning of the word. Every child needs a parent in their life, and Anuerin never had the chance to know his mother as Amaryllis did, but as a man what he needed even more than a mother in his life was his father. Amaryllis had loved Anuerin as much as she possibly could, but no matter what she did she could never be that essential figure in his life that was Ryker. In a way he had grownup, but being deprived of love as a child left him immature in many respects. Whether or not he acknowledged it many of the things he did to make everything Ryker did more difficult was an attempt to gain his father's attention. It had failed many years, until this day.

Amaryllis lead the path to Anuerin's room, walking ahead of Vasper at a pace she wouldn't usually attempt. She realized now she was much more excited to see her brother than she realized.

He smiled at her dramatic flare, she always made things fun and interesting. After she tagged him he turned to her and swam. He then swam to the surface and pushed off into the air he flew low over the water until he was right over top of her. He then tucked his wings and dove. He went under the water and wrapped his arms around her and brought her back to the surface. "Well I am afraid I am not letting go until you bring my sweet angel back." He said matter of facts as he held her to him as they floated.

Lilith pretended to struggle as the demon, before falling limp in his hands. After a few seconds, she "woke up", planting a soft kiss on his lips. She whispered "I'm back now, mortal. But don't betray me or my evil counterpart will take over."

(Once again, if the school is 3:00pm, then count eight hours back for the island time. You all keep rushing my time line. *sigh* that's why Leverett is still drinking coffee. :/ )

Sebastian didn't understand the purpose of saying that, so he just nodded at his words. He asked simply "So, what you think of Ryker?"

"He's a visionary and methodical in his pursuits." Leverett said as he stood up and got his coffee cup to leave. "Good day Sebastian." He said quietly.

Ava grinned and looked to him again "Thank you." That made her feel really good that he thought so highly of it.

Donella watched her then shook her head "That can't have tasted good, lets' get some milk or something."

Andorra chuckled and grinned. "Can't say I didn't get my fiber today. Milk sounds good, cheetahs love all things dairy." She teased as she walked with her to a table to set down their books.

Ryker held Anuerin just a tighter when he relaxed into his embrace. He even curled himself around his son protectively. He'd almost lost this wonderful boy. He thought as his eyes welled up with tears. He took may things for granted and Anuerin was one of them. "That's right, I've got you Anuerin." He murmured softly to him.
