Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

" But I calibrated just enough ketchup for them all, now you've thrown the ratio off" Dimitri debated his reasoning.
"Fine then, Mr. Calibrates French Fries," Alexis said, trying to force a frown. Using the tip of one of her fork's prongs, she dipped it in his ketchup then wiped it on a napkin. "All better, now?"

"Did you just dip your germ ridden fork into my nice clean ketchup?" Dimitri asked in shock as he looked between the two items mentioned.

"Then don't. There's no need to dwell on the past," Zaine said. Easier said than done, though. He was all too often thinking of his own past.
Ava looked to him then shook her head "It is never that easy to not think about it." She stated then shifted to her fox. Her tail was poofed up, showing how agitated she was even as she headed out of the room, leaving the sketchbook and painting there with her pencils.

Zaine frowned as she left, but he didn't try to stop her. Being detained when talking was the last thing you wanted to do was a feeling he himself hated. Taking one more look at the drying canvas, he grabbed his backpack and slowly headed for his room.

"Uh huh," Alexis said. Taking the fork, she ran her tongue slowly down the prongs. "Hey, ketchup ain't so bad by itself!"
"Get that thing away from my ketchup!" Dimitri replied with mock horror, as he scooped up his ketchup cup. Then snagged a fry to dip in inside. He glared at Alexis ashe chewed.

Ava had slowed, scenting fresh air. With her head tilted and ears perked forward, she followed the scent to a broken open window. Well then... She glanced around to make sure this wasn't a trap then jumped up to the sill, her fox form could easily slip out, though the area smelled a lot like bear. She looked around, taking in what was there outside before going out.

Alexis just laughed at him as she turned her back to him in order to finish her crème brûlée uninterrupted. She savored every bite, then carefully stacked the trash on her tray.

Zaine dropped his bag on the floor right inside the door. He stood there for a few minutes, just thinking about the past hour's conversation.
