Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"I rather not share, the truth can be a curse. That is why I've never mentioned any of this before." He admitted freely.
"Very well then, sir," Zaine complied, albeit reluctantly. Secrets could be dangerous burdens, he knew well. "The main thing I came to ask was," he started, then paused, clearing his throat before continuing nervously. "How much do you know about us individually?"

Lilith smiled, and replied "I remember. I was a bit nervous too. Why were you nervous?" She looked up in his eyes, anticipating his answer. Was it because he was scared that she was evil like the rest? Did he see her as she had seen him, as a monster at first.

He thought about his answer for a moment carefully, unsure how he wanted to answer. "Well I think I was most nervous because you were so beautiful. But also I think I was worried that you wouldn't see things the same way I do. I was worried you would shoot me down on friendship and I would be alone to deal with this place." He answered truthfully.

(i see :p )

Alexis was grinning from ear to ear now. She was terribly amused with the whole situation; a bunch of zoo animals up on a roof, as well as Dimitri's avoiding her question. She followed after him until he stepped higher than she could reach. Cursing her shortness, she grudgingly shifted and climbed up after him.
Dimitri noticed Alexis shifted and followed after him. He panicked and shifted to scoop her up into his arms to keep her safe from falling. "What is wrong with you! You know you eyes aren't that good." He said out of worry for her as he held her tight as he climbed down.

Charles shrugged, and replied "You should ask her, not me." He questioned why he was following her.

Victor replied with a shrug "My friends were good enough."
(so many posts at once :th)

"Very well then. Where can I find her?" Atalanta asked.

"For you, Maybe," Lucy said stiffly. "But I like real and tangible."

Layla gave a smile back at his answer, this would do she thought. "Names do make things easier, otherwise I would have to resort to calling you that guy. I am Layla, I believe I have seen you around before. That's French right?" She asked curiously, if he was going to be her friend she was going to have to learn these things.
"Oui! Guilty as charged. Layla is a striking name." Leverett said pleasantly.

Purring with delight, Alexis nuzzled her head against his jaw. She couldn't exactly reply, not in this form at least, but she wanted to wait till they were secure on the ground before shifting.

Andorra smiled and shifted into her cheetah. She nudged Donella playfully.
Donella mewed at her and pushed back lightly then stood, tail flicking. Chase? She mewed once more, tapping Andorra with a paw to 'tag' her then running away to find something to climb.

Layla listened to his reply and considered how to handle his last comment. She wanted to say something harsh or snarky but she checked herself. Be polite Layla mind your manners she told herself. "Its fairly ordinary in my book but you are free to believe that if you like. Are you heading somewhere? Mind if I join you?" She asked politely as she pulled her long blonde hair up into a ponytail to get it out of her face.
