Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Victor ended up in confusion after Lucy was gone, tensing up when something started crawling on his back. He said quietly "I...hate you." He smiled, and added even more quietly "And love you for it at the same time."

Claire shook her head in amazement, before replying "Yep. I'm a dragon millipede. Are you sure you're not a fortune teller or something?"
Lucy pulled out a strand of his hair and played with it between her paws as she sat, quite comfortably, perched on his shoulder.

Atalanta dipped her brush in the water and swirled it around gently to get the grey out. "No, I'm not a fortune teller. If I was, I would have said millipede straightaway. I was wrong, for millipedes aren't insects," she said thoughtfully.

Victor sighed, saying "Scratch that. I hate you." He grabbed her from his shoulder and held her like a baby, crooning with a smile "You're so cuuuuute."

Claire nodded, her attention returning to the painting, which was coming along well.

Areum looked at the board game, going back to it. She moved, but deep in thought. Was he doing this to help her or to take advantage of her like others had.
Rowan looked down at his arms, touching his arms where they had touched and thinking. He was too lost in his thoughts to notice if she moved.

Areum didn't know what was happening. A small ounce of anger was boiling up within her, she didn't know why. She was confused, was he doing this to control her or was he doing this to make her into her mother. She actually hoped it was the first option rather than the second.

Lucy cocked her head as she looked up at him. Jerk. Poor, unsuspecting jerk. With the hair still clenched between a paw, she scrambled out of his arms and made a mad dash for the nearest hall. Tag would be their next game.

Atalanta slowly submerged the tip of her brush into a pale yellow. She tapped the brush handle lightly against her hand to get excess paint off, then turned her gaze to the canvas.

Rowan blinked and looked up to her then to the board and reached for the dice to take his turn. "I don't know why, but I liked your hug."

Victor chuckled and followed in a sprint. He was fast and athletic, but catching a raccoon would be hard. And they would look stupid and probably get in trouble. But screw it, he chased after her.

Claire stood back to admire it, hers was pretty good and about done as well. She smiled at Atalanta's; it was good as well, used a lot of color variations.

Lucy turned the corner sharply. Her small raccoon figure made it around with ease and she headed for an open room.

Atalanta carefully blended the yellow just enough with the grey to give the appearance of a misty sun of sorts. "Sink and paper towels are behind you when you're ready for them," she murmured.
