Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

" Hardy har har!! You ever think about taking your act on the road? Oh wait, you can't because you're stuck here with the rest of us. And for the record, I'm never scared of losing miss blindy cat." Dimitri replied with humor.
"Well that's a dismal way to put it," Alexis said, frowning deeply at the thought. She shook her head, as if to shoo the idea away, then looked up at him. "Anyway, good. Good that you're not scared of losing, because that's what's about to happen big time."

"Huh, I'll believe it when I se....hear it!!" Dimitri corrected himself before he could say it. He smiled at her proudly.

Ioan entered his office, relieved to find that the memories it held weren't as oppressive as they were when he left it. He decided to leave the door open this once, instead of shutting himself away as he usually did. Walking over to his desk he paused, cocking his head sideways in thought as he noticed a medium sized box placed in the center of his desk. Setting his coffee aside on the top bookshelf, he turned to quietly close the door. He figured since he hadn't expected a package he should open it in private. He didn't know what it was, or more importantly who it was from. The label didn't have a return adress, only the adress of the school. That meant it could be from anyone, including Ryker.

"Thankfully, you can see just fine, so you'll see perfectly when you lose," Alexis said determinedly.
Dimitri pulled Alexis to a stop and wrapped his arms around her. "I wish I could give you my vision. I reallydon't mean to joke about it all the time." He said seriously.

Alexis was quiet for once as she savored the warmth and closeness of the embrace. "No, I don't mind," she said honestly as she slipped her arms around his waist. "After twenty years, I can truthfully say I've come to terms with it and I don't dislike the jokes. They don't bother me, really."

Ryker glanced to Anuerin's face surprised himself by the reply. "I'm glad you feel that way son." He said with conviction.

Razeth encompassed her with his protecting embrace and buried his nose into her. "He can't get you here, I wouldn't let him." He vowed warmly. He understood personal demons. He had his own he had to overcome and Laurel had helped him with the lastonishing of them.

(He needs better soap then if she smells him that strongly. :lau jk! )
"Hello beautiful, can I come in for a spell?" Indigo asked with a smirk.
Anuerin nodded his head softly. He eased his body into a sitting position to allow him to be able to look around the room.

Laurel embraced Razeth more fully, having complete faith that he would follow through with his words.

"Of course." Cyra breathed, nearly blushing as she widened the door for him to enter.

Ioan collapsed in the office chair, struggling internally to decide whether or not he should open the package. If Ryker wanted to bring destruction inside the school, would this be the way he would have done it? It could be a trap, but there was an equal possibility that it wasn't. Pushing aside his worries he brought his knife out of his pocket and cut across the package tape with it's blade. He set the knife aside, and with a final sigh, pulled the box open. His breathing faltered at the sight of the package's content: a severed head. It took a moment to look past the pale and bloodied facial features to recognize the man that killed his son. Ioan imagined for years avenging the blood of his child, but in this moment his grief was doubled rather than extinguished. He couldn't help but question Ryker's motives. Was this a threat? Taking the paper from the mouth of the severed head, Ioan unfolded the letter hoping the answers were written inside.
(Nicky, can you reply with what Ryker wrote Ioan?)

Amaryllis awoke gently. After allowing her body a few minutes to fully regain consciousness she stood with the realization that she was feeling rather poorly. She slowly moved closer to the dresser with support from a wall, and pulled the top drawer open. The drawer was lined with medications from one end to the other. She checked the dates of every capsule, but they were all expired by several years. Sighing in disappointment, Amaryllis closed the drawer. She needed sustenance; she had many health issues but forgetting to eat only contributed to them.

Aralyn locked her bedroom door behind her, deciding to take the stairs to pool level since it was usually more quiet there than it was riding the elevators. She had spent too long out of water and it was beginning to affect her negativly. When she first gained her unique features Ryker warned her to regularly spend time in water every few hours, because if she didn't she would lose her ability to shift among other things. Although she doubted her conditions were that severe, she rather not take a chance.

Haley pulled the elastic from her hair, then brushed her long hair out quickly but carefully. While her little thinking session had been rather insightful, she knew that if she thought too long on a single matter it would just come full circle and she'd be back where she started, so she had stopped and returned to her room a few minutes ago. Dinner would be set out soon, if it wasn't already, so she decided to head that way. Hopefully she'd be able to stomach a full meal now.
Amaryllis' door was on the way so she stopped there to listen for if her friend was up.

Haley put her ear to the door, though rather unnecessarily it would seem, since she could hear bottles clinking just fine before. "Amaryllis?" She tapped lightly on the door. "I'm heading down to dinner, if you want to join me," she offered hopefully.

(Is Aralyn open?)
