Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

As soon as the elevator the lab floor, Vasper ran out and into Ryker's lab across the hallway. "Ryker help! Something is wrong with her." He said urgently as he laid Amaryllis down upon a gurney.
Ryker frowned and rushed over to start examining her for clues, which Vasper filled him in on what had happened.

"I'm sorry you had to endure that Laurel. He was a brutal man and didn't deserve a daughter as special as yourself. " Razeth said with a flash of temper at the monster she called father.

Indigo shifted to roar loudly and bared his four inch fangs in answer. He looked to Cyra with angry indignation in his eyes as he flexed his claws on the linoleum.
Amaryllis tossed her head to watch Vasper as he laid her on the gurney, afraid that he might leave her. "Am I dying?" She asked Ryker quietly between gasps as he came to examine her. Her blue eyes focused on him, wanting to know the truth.

Laurel blushed faintly at his words. "I never thought of myself in that way, but thank you." She commented as she took her food to a cleared table.

Cyra watched Indigo with an expression of disinterest. "You're not the only person in this room with claws and fangs." She challenged casually.

Alexis went easy on him, but not so much that he was ever ahead. Her pride was too much for that. "So you've really never seen a foosball table before," she mused, shaking her head incredulously.

Haley tossed the nails onto the bed, then pushed herself up onto the sill before swinging her legs over. Checking down below to make sure there was no one, she then grabbed the upper part of the window as she carefully put her feet down on the roof. She moved away to give him room to get out as well as keep a safe distance between them.

Somehow Zaine wasn't surprised with her reply, only all the more frustrated with himself for handling this situation so loosely. He took the tray with a grateful smile. "I'll try my best," he said honestly. "Thank you, Andorra."
"I was from a Russian orphanage and went into Ryker's lab soon after. So no, I'm not familiar with foosball. " Dimitri replied as he continued to defend his goal from her.

Dyrus climbed out the window and looked around while holding on to the window frame. "Now what?" He asked quietly.

Andorra sighed softly and watched him go." Your welcome " She muttered softly, before turning to go.

Alexis frowned as she considered his reply. She felt bad for him; not in the pitying kind of way, which he'd probably hate, but sad that he had missed out on so much. "Well you're not too shabby for a first timer," she said, chuckling lightly.

Looking back at him, Haley smiled softly as she cocked her head. "We sit. Watch the sunset, talk in something above a whisper," she explained. "Unless you have something important to do elsewhere."

Donella was on her bed, reading her book. She had left the door unlocked so that Andorra could just come back in without having to worry about it. She was curled around the book, facing the wall
Zaine balanced the tray carefully on one hand, his book in the other. He had forgotten about it during their conversation, but now it and his previous plans were out the window. This was his chance. Thank God for friends—yeah, he admitted that Dimitri and Andorra could be called that—who knew more than he did on this subject. He was on his way down the dorm hall when he realized that he didn't know which room was Andorra's. Or Donella's. Where had she said she was? Shoot.

Donella looked up for a moment, wondering what was keeping Andorra, but she wasn't going to try to go anywhere herself. She took a moment to crack the door, just in case Andorra had her hands full before she returned to her bed and her book.

Zaine turned around quickly, having heard a door open. He headed towards it with the hopes that it would help him out. If it wasn't Donella's room, maybe at least the person inside would know which one was.
"Hello?" He tapped lightly on the door with the edge of his book.

(Thanks :) )

Donella frowned at the voice she heard, sitting up and looking to the door again. Oh no, not him again. She pulled her legs up and wrapped her arms around them, staring at the door as it inched open at the knock. "Go away" She managed to get out after she could see his face. Why was he here?

Score. "Andorra sent me with some food for you," Zaine said gently. It was mostly true. He shifted his weight to one leg to get comfortable, thinking—and probably rightly—that she didn't intend on letting him in immediately.

Eliana was surprised by the soothing noises coming out of Alastor, that she had not expected. But it oddly enough was working, she relaxed a little bit as he loosened the restraints. She sighed when he had done so and turned her wrists over to alleviate the pressure that had been on them before. Instinct made her claws slide out and she growled, but seeing the trust on his face, he didn't want to hurt her. She slowly closed her eyes and took a deep shaky breath as she retracted her claws until they were no more. She opened her eyes and gave him a nod in silent thank you.

Layla smiled back him, happy he shared such a spot with her. At his comment she got an idea in her head but knew it would probably be a terrible joke, she had to do it. "Oh come on I have great balance I am not going to fall off the cliff." She said with a snort and shrug then made a motion like she was going to fall as she turned around. Curious what he would do.

"You don't need to be anything more then you are, normal is over rated. Besides you don't need to conform to some weird standard to make me happy, I wanted to date the real you, whether that you is fly by night or deep and meaningful." He said with a quiet chuckle and a warm smile as he brushed his fingers across her cheek. He smiled at her last comment, yeah that kiss had been special, she had made it so. "You know I can do more then kiss, I am a great hugger and cuddler for instance. I am great at keeping things warm on cold days. I also happen to exceptional at foot and shoulder massage and I am a decent cook." He said in a joking tone but all of it was true.

(bumping for @NickyKnack in case you missed it. I think it got buried. )

Casey blinked and looked at the door for a moment before he got up, shifting to come over and open it. "Amara?" The question was more because she was in bear form, though he moved, opening the door wider so that she could come inside "Everything alright?" He chose a simple yes/no question so she could just nod and wouldn't have to shift if she didn't want to.

Amara moved inside the door and nodded her head simply to answer the question he had posed. She then moved up to him and buried her big furry head in his shirt at his stomach. His scent calmed her, probably because he smelled like a bear. She chuffed lightly into his shirt.
