"Of course, I won't say a word," Haley promised. Resting her chin atop her knees, she stared in his direction, but not at him. She was thinking. She felt more at ease knowing this info, but she still intended to keep a close eye on her friend. Her reverie didn't last long; she looked up to meet Dyrus' gaze. "Why is it so easy for them? They make it seem so simple. A few words passed, and the world's bright again with the other at their side." She spoke her thoughts aloud, uncaring what judgement may be passed. She was tired of keeping her thoughts to herself, so as long as Dyrus was willing to listen, she was happy to fill the silence.
