"Took you long enough to figure that out about me," Alexis said, chuckling softly as she winked back.

"Of course, I won't say a word," Haley promised. Resting her chin atop her knees, she stared in his direction, but not at him. She was thinking. She felt more at ease knowing this info, but she still intended to keep a close eye on her friend. Her reverie didn't last long; she looked up to meet Dyrus' gaze. "Why is it so easy for them? They make it seem so simple. A few words passed, and the world's bright again with the other at their side." She spoke her thoughts aloud, uncaring what judgement may be passed. She was tired of keeping her thoughts to herself, so as long as Dyrus was willing to listen, she was happy to fill the silence.

"Always!" Allen agreed readily. He was eager to get out, and she seemed eager to get him out, so this could definitely be fun.

"Glad you noticed. Besides, I wouldn't have you any other way. You'll keep me guessing and on my toes. " Dimitri replied as he refocused upon the game.

Dyrus met her gaze and admitted the truth. "I don't know, but I've envied them for that very thing tonight. " He looked away from the intensity in her eyes. "You're my first relationship. I'm learning as I go here. Maybe that's why it's so awkward. " He added softly.

Ashton grinned widely and stepped back from the door way. "Then let's get going my trusty sidekick. " She said with humor.

(Thank you. But I do feel bad that you guys are always stuck waiting. It's not fair to you all. I just keep wait for my life to slow down, but it never does. It just keeps getting more complicated. *sigh* )
"Oh, didn't you know? I'm a class A workaholic. So no social networking or even leaving this facility for me either. Sorry to be a disappointment in that regard. Even though I do it to myself. I just can't help it, most days I can't even tell if it's night or day because of the long hours I put in. I know, big shock." Alastor stated with ano overly fake smile. He didn't like talking about himself very much.

Willow told him where the lotion was and called after him, " Oh, I love Mexican and certain Spanish dishes. So delicious, especially the spicy ones. Jalapeno or habanero either works!"

( Its ok I get life being complicated. Things were finally looking like we were going to dig ourselves out of the stuff we've been dealing with. Then just today my DH got hit by a truck that ran a red light. Thankfully he is ok, but our only car is totaled. )

Eliana snorted at his comment, figured he would be that way. Well it wasn't like she was ever going anywhere either. "Can I have some juice please?" She asked as she looked pointedly at the juice which sat just out of reach. While she waited she couldn't help but ask. "So anything wrong with me now? Or did my tests come back all clear, I assume you were indeed testing for something?"

Layla racked her brain for something to say given it was a first for both of them and came up short. So she ended up saying the first thing that came to her which turned out to be not to great either. "Here is to not killing each other, I mean to new friendships and experiences." She attempted to try and cover up her blunder by adding something that sounded better at the end. She grabbed her drink and began chugging it in an attempt to bury or in this case drown her humiliation. God she really needed to work on her people skills, he was so well spoken she figured for sure he was going to laugh at her ridiculous toast.

Adrian grabbed the lotion and then sat down at her feet. He put the lotion into his hands first to warm it up before he took her foot in his hand and began to first rub some of the lotion into her skin, and then to kneed the tense muscles into relaxation. He smiled at her, a woman who liked spicy food, a woman after his own heart. "Good because that is what I excel at, in my book the spicier the better. Plus its great for when you have a cold, clears the sinuses." He added with amusement. He watched her carefully wondering if she liked her massage so far.

"At least we share that perspective. Though, I dare say this is Amaryllis' first, and she seems just fine," Haley murmured, slightly bitter if she was honest with herself.

"Yesss," Allen said, dramatically pulling a fist downward with excitement. "Where to, oh trusty leader?"

Alastor apologized for his inattention. "Sorry, my bedside manners need some improvement, apparently." He got the juice and held it up so she could get a drink. "It's not necessarily anything wrong we're looking for, but anomalies that could be or have developed. Most of the time, these are good things, not negative. " He explained quietly.

Willow'seyes fairly rolled back in her head as he worked his magic on her feet. Oh my, did the boy have made skills with his talented fingers. Note to self: Don't let anything happen to his hands. Like that old Eagle's song said, "he's got the magic hands." But to him all she said, "Adrian, you cease to amaze me."

(Thanks guys, I am very thankful that DH is ok, hes a bit bruised and has a burn from the air bag but he is ok, and that is what matters. Judging by the fact that the guy that hit him tried to flee, twice tells me he probably doesn't have insurance. We will find out more details tomorrow about what will happen. And we have to figure out the car situation, and new car seats. UGH life sucks sometimes. But thank you both. )

Actually, looking at it like that, my jealousy is kind of petty. I should be happy for them. Happy that we are giving it a go and that I won't have to watch from afar if you'd chosen Anuerin." Dyrus said with a growl as he flopped back fully on the roof. He looked up at the sky. " But the whole jealousy thing, makes me a terrible friend for ever thinking that in the first place. Right?!" He asked as he looked to Haley.

Ryker couldn't tell if the water therapy was working. He looked closely at Amaryllis for any signs of improvement.

Vasper paced nervously as he kept glancing to the two in the shower stall. He was whispering quietly, "Please work, please bring her back to me. Please let me prove myself worthy of this priceless gift you've graced me with. But if you take her from me now, how can I do so?" He didn't know how to pray, but he wasn't letting that stop him.

Alexis kept up her game of not being so far ahead as to depress him, but not letting him get ahead. She was thoroughly enjoying everything about this.

"Who am I to judge; I'm in the same boat as you," Haley said gently. She slowly leaned back alongside him as close as she dared, tilting her head back a bit as she did so to see more sky. "And even if I had chosen Anuerin, it would have done me little good in the end. It's been a fruitless past few years and I'm honestly glad to have put that behind me."
