Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Elijah cocked his head in consideration. "Maybe they weren't so much predicting that you would be peaceful. Perhaps they instead knew you would have a difficult life and instead wanted a name that would remind you who you really are and how you should be. Perhaps it was more something to aspire too, to work towards." He mused wondering if he was going to far, he didn't know her or her parents so maybe he shouldn't have said that. But it was out there couldn't take it back at this point. He looked at her then, "I was named after a prophet if it makes you feel any better."
Aquene responded quickly "Oh I'm not sad about it. I was just thinking." She commented "Thank you for your interpretation, it was very beautiful. I'll keep that in mind, and your name is awesome so don't feel bad about it."

Adrian tried to sooth her a bit as he looked her in the eyes. "I didn't want you to worry, and there is no reason to report it. I am going to ask to move rooms, but I don't think I should report it. I punched him because he was being beyond rude, I tried to brush it off but I snapped. I am not proud of it and I smacked him right in the face. I don't know something was off with him, hes got some problems with anger or something. Either way I barely know the guy and I am not going to report him and possibly ruin his life here because I lost my cool and hit him. Either way I think we should keep our distance from him." He answered honestly, he didn't want to lie to her in any way, but the look on her face worried him. He really hoped she didn't make this into a problem, like head out on some sort of mission to find this guy.

(Adrian never learned Indigo name right? I don't think he ever caught that so he just knows his face right? Just wanted to check for clarity. )
Willow growled at someone being rude to Adrian. "He couldn't have that bad of an anger issue is he didn't tear you a new one, regardless of if Elijah intervened. You have to be more careful Adrian. I don't want you fighting with anyone but me. My mighty stallion must have been feeling his oats." She said as she wrapped her arms around his neck to kiss him lovingly.

"Singing?" Donella asked softly then sighed and looked away again "I wish I could sing with any skill."
"I can't sing anymore anyway. I screamed too loudly at the labs. I was told I broke my voice. I can't carry a tune to save my life. My mama said I had the voice of an angel. It was so long ago, I barely remember. But Ryker had brought me a violin, so it sings for me. Maybe I'll play you a song sometime. " Andorra said quietly.

"I know you will," Alexis said, smirking as he led them along.

"Haha, um..." Allen kept his smile up but it wasn't doing him much good, apparently. "Ashton was just giving me a tour of the place," he explained, then winced noticeably. His lying was rusty from disuse here, and she was sure to sense it. No, he needed something better—like really better, in order to keep Ashton and himself out of trouble. He cleared his throat, but nothing came to mind. "Do I really smell like Ashton?" He squeaked. He cursed mentally. Someone was about to be in big trouble.

Haley told the woman what she wanted, asking for only a water to accompany the meal, then handed the menu over.

Ares leaned back comfortably against his chair, tipping it barely on a back leg. "But I guess it is a step up from the labs," he said thoughtfully. A tiny step.
"I'm glad you have faith in me Alexis. " Dimitri replied as he started it the stairwell to the roof.

Madison smirked and step uncomfortably close to Allen and sniffed him deeply. "In the way you've been around her recently." She explained as he met his gaze. "What's your name lion?" She said with a smile.

Ashton caught Madison's scent and knew she'd been tracking Allen. She sprinted down the hall and rounded the corner to find then standing closely. She frowned and froze as she looked at the pair.

Dyrus did the same with his menu and looked to Haley as the waitress stepped away. "Water? Why not tea?" He asked curiously.

"Yeah, I guess. At least our cage is larger with many rooms and other inhabitants. " Roan stated with a chuckle.

Allen took a step forward as well, keeping his smile wide and face (hopefully) innocent. Two could play at this game. "Name's Allen. And, if I recall correctly, you're Madison the Lioness." He slowly shoved the bag in his pocket with the full intention to toss it later, if he got out of this alive. "We met last night, remember?"

Haley smiled softly. "I prefer tea in the early mornings or late evenings; otherwise, water suits just fine. Tea taken too often loses its charm."

"And free roaming girls," Ares added with a wink. He leaned back a little bit more and surveyed the room. His eyes soon settled on a slim, dark-haired woman in line.

Liam nodded and followed her towards her room. "I haven't been to the gym in a while, I tend to prefer the pool myself. Always been a swimmer, less impact on the joints." He added to fill the silence. "Granted I can't swim nearly as fast as some of the others here, they were built for the water." He was in awe of what some of them could do in the water. Then he shook his head, he needed to not be jealous of these people. If he was meant to be like the Ryker would have done it already.
Samantha gritted her teeth, but at the same time relaxed her stiff posture. So, he was a chatter, she was a listener. As long as he kept to semi interesting subjects, she could bear this interaction for a little while. "Ryker has done wonders for a few among us when it comes to the water," she said quietly, "though I'm sad to say I was not among them. But, I'm grateful for the lot I was given. I prefer the shadows on land than in the depths anyway." She turned the lock in her door and went in, heading for a nightstand where she retrieved an iPod wrapped in earbuds. A necessity for the gym.

Iris heard Priam call out for her, and shouted back "I'm on the beach. Are we still playing because if we are I'm running away again." She tensed, just in case the answer was yes and she had to bolt in the other direction.

Victor chuckled, following it with a smile. He responded, taking note of her frown a few seconds earlier, "I was joking about the whole serial killer thing. Hope you didn't take it personally."
"Atalanta has decided that she'd fancy something to eat," Priam called out. He smirked at his sister as he said so, knowing full well she'd dislike the blame shift.
Atalanta nudged him in the stomach but didn't say anything.

Lucy shook her head. "No, it's fine," she said quietly. She picked at the remaining food on her plate before pushing it away. "It's just, true. That's what we are: killers. And yet, we're locked away from the world. It won't bode well; it never does. If you lock up a killer, you only increase their reasons to kill, and when they do get out...Well, you'll have Hades to pay."

Elliot set his hand down on the armrest, peering outside the window as they slowly rolled down the runway. He picked up a newspaper, reading the cover which read "Twenty Dead in Terror Attack in France." He started reading the article.
Asa stiffened in preparation of the jet's take off, but the jolt of the wheels as they pushed off the ground was more subtle than usual, causing his stomach to feel less sick.

"I don't think you are perfect or anything like that. I know there are faults in each of us, parts of our pasts we would rather not talk about or relive." Nova said, frowning and looking down at the floor "I punched Gideon over that, he dug into my past when I didn't want to remember it. He said he was just wanting to help, but, I don't know, I couldn't accept that he would just dig in my file."
"I struggle with that myself," Anuerin said quietly in transparency, "remembering that when people inquire of your past or remind you of a memory, that they're trying to understand you better; to relate with you. They don't understand that I don't want my character to judged by my past actions."
