His lying was rusty from disuse here, and she was sure to sense it. No, he needed something better—like really better, in order to keep Ashton and himself out of trouble. He cleared his throat, but nothing came to mind. "Do I really smell like Ashton?" He squeaked. He cursed mentally. Someone was about to be in big trouble.
