Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Sam shook the water out of her eyes and stared, unamused, at him. His comment threw her for a moment but she quickly collected herself and straightened in the neck deep water. "Well thanks. You're an odd duck yourself." She laughed dryly. Few people actually liked her, and she was more than fine with that. It made things easier, generally, but if he chose to like her to any degree then all power to him.

Liam chuckled, well it wasn't his first time being called odd so no surprise there. "Thank you, I don't mind being odd. better then being boring." He replied with a smile and a shrug. He suspected that she was a bit thrown by his comment, although which part he wasn't sure. But that was fine, he had been trying to read her this whole time and failing to do so. "You will make a good agent, when Ryker sends you into the field for any big jobs I mean." He didn't care to elaborate as he suspected it would be hard to explain what he meant, so he just left it open to interpretation. He stood and finished drying himself off on the bench by the pool.

True, Samantha thought. When he moved away, she swam to the edge and folded her arms to rest on the wet concrete, her chin atop them. She didn't reply immediately, having to process the statement and an answer firstly. She trailed the tip of her nail lazily through a puddle, watching the liquid tremble slightly. "I hope so," she finally said, glancing up just for a split second. "I've done a good number of little things for him, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to get on with larger tasks. I've worked too hard to stand in others' shadows much longer."

(Thanks so much, I've been super busy and I end up losing posts. )

William looked at her with mock horror at such a thought, but he was truthful when he answered her. "I would never go easy on you in any endeavor, I consider that an insult to both of us. I truly am just his terrible at basketball. " He added with a grin at how bad he was. He picked up the ball and attempted to dribble it but he had to do so very slowly. "I was always a runner, never much for other sports." He added as he picked the ball up and shot it towards the basket, not even close.
Leah got the and shot it, missing also. She whispered loudly “Oops.” She added with a smile “Want to play a game now? Maybe with a prize?”

Claire responded “I’m mixed with a dragon millipede, which explains the light purple hair.” She was never great at keeping conversations going, so she hoped he could do better than she was.
"Purple hair is as good a color to have. I don't think I've ever seen a dragon millipede before." Eirik stated simply. He glanced up and then down the hallway as best he could, before pulling out his hand mirror to slip it through the slot to look fully.

"Uh huh," Allen agreed halfheartedly as he looked the board over, determining his next move.

Haley nodded her head in agreement. "We can actually watch the sun set, or rise, next time," she added, giving him a knowing look.

Alexis pretended to not notice Ares', or Dimitri's, for that matter, faces; one smirking and the other one glowering. It didn't phase her negatively in the least, and she was rather enjoying it. Dimitri was terribly attractive with his little shows of possessiveness—to his annoyance, if he knew—so she wasn't going to complain about this.
Ashton smirked as she looked to Allen. Plus, a knight is a little horse. " She pointed out as she popped some more corn nuts in her mouth to wait out his move crunching loudly.

Dyrus smiled as he opened the car door for Haley. "I think I'd like that." He admitted almost timidly. He glanced to her with a soft look.

Dimitri scowled further as he huffed angrily in his tiger way. He was mindful of the professor as he droned on endlessly. When class was over, he'd be sure to share a piece of his mind with that pompous male. Maybe even pull his spine out? Yeah, that'll help exert his dominance. He speculated to himself.

Areum didn’t know what to do, so she didn’t do anything, letting him start any movement, but for now holding his gaze in return.
Rowan just held her for a bit then sighed and shook his head "What do you want to do? If we stay like this, we will get caught eventually."

Zaine frowned slightly in consideration of both suggestions. He glanced to the bobby pin, then to Andorra. "The locks'll probably be more than decent, so if you can't open it with that, I'll try the window," he said decidedly.

(I think you're right)

(It wasn't just my fox that found it, I think it was Amara that found or broke it before she met Casey.)
Donella nodded and moved to kneel in front of the door to work on the lock. She certainly wanted to be able to go inside for water before the end of the school day. She worked the small metal for a few minutes before the lock gave over. "We do need a better way to keep it open when we are up here."
"Look at you, girl! OMG, you're told awesomeness! By the way, you totally have to teach me that trick. " Andorra said with immense pride in her friend.
