Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"Her?" Allen looked to her curiously. He moved his bishop towards his right edge. "I wonder who decides that such and such is called a she, then that over there is called a he," he mused.

Haley settled in and buckled up. When he was in as well, she leaned forward in her seat, resting her elbows on her knees as she looked around through the front window.

Priam nodded barely in acknowledgment when he caught her gaze. Awkward, always, but he kept walking as she did too. He stopped near a row of benches and surveyed the room.
Ashton looked to Allen and growled, "When I play, all my pieces are female. I decide that much at least. " She told him simply.

Dyrus buckled up and started the car. He pulled out to head to the moment and pop store a a few blocks down. That was the nice part to island life, it was so close knit and quaint village like.

Donella laughed and shook her head at that. It was funny in a way, but she was glad nothing would come from that though.
Andorra shrugged and shook her head as if with much regret, "It's your loss. There's a reason his owl is football sized. Makes for better drop kick." She said with a smile.

That drew a surprised laugh out of her as she looked to Andorra again "Really? A football?" She shook her head again.

Allen held his hands up, palms outward. "Oh, my bad," he said. He smirked at her as he picked up his king. "This guy, too?"

Haley looked around curiously. "Everything's so nice and orderly," she said, a tone of surprise in her voice. She hardly ever went out behind the immediate borders of the mansion so this was all mostly new to her. And with present company, it was admittedly more exciting.

Adrian shook his head, he sometimes wondered how witty he actually was. He would have to think on it for sure for sometime, make sure he came up with something suitable before mentioning it to her. "So what class are you missing out on right now?" He asked curiously, wondering if she minded that he was the cause of her truancy.

Harper let the door fall shut as they entered the gym, she watched as Irine demeanor changed in reaction to the different scenery. She made a mental note of that, interesting. She had never had such feelings or situations occur to her. She wondered absently if it was just a matter of personality difference or if it was something off in her compared to most of the others being here. "Very well I will be out here." She replied simply and watched as Irine headed to the locker room. She moved to the side of the room and leaned against the wall to observe the rest of the room. There was little trouble Irine could get into in the locker room so there was no need for her to be followed in there.
Willow thought about it and said, " Geography. Which I wouldn't want to be anywhere in this world without you. So not a harshardship in the slightest. " She sent a sexy smile to Adrian and blew him a kiss.

Irine changed quickly and came out to start her warm up exercises. She looked to Harper and smiled, then glanced over to the unfamiliar male with curiosity.

That drew a surprised laugh out of her as she looked to Andorra again "Really? A football?" She shook her head again.
"Yeah, I noticed these things and I find them to be far beyond coincidence." Andorra said trying to keep a straight face. She could always make anyone laugh. That was her true talent. One that Ryker never appreciated.

Priam approached Harper, knowing her as an assistant in the lab itself sometimes. When he saw Irine doing the same he immediately put two and two together: she was who he was supposed to work with. Swell. Thanks, Ryker. He growled under his breath in annoyance. This better not be another sissy like the last female he'd been thrown in with.

Aw, nuts! He had her there. She scurried to think of an answer to comply with her logic. "No, he's male. My Amazonians captured him for breeding stock." She groaned inwardly at the absurdity of that statement. But she was committed to it now, wasn't she?

"Yes, it is. Refreshingly so. " Dyrus agreed pleasantly.

Donella smiled again and nodded. "Yeah, but not many would make such a connection. I am so glad you are here with me Andorra."

Layla slid her claws back into her hands and gave him a small smile. She was glad he was in good spirits despite everything that had happened to him. "Of course. You are my only friend and you nearly died. So I will protect you for as long as needed. In fact its likely you will get tired of me by the time this is over." She said with a touch of a smile as she reached out and took his hand. She had a feeling she was being a bit overbearing but she felt responsible and she was going to see this through. Of course if he asked her to leave she would, for a while anyways. She scanned his features to see if he was telling the truth about being fine, if he was in pain she would know it.
Leverett returned Layla's smile. He squeezed her hand in his good one. " I would never reward your kindness with such cruelty. From a male perspective, i find it's quite nice being fussed over. Regardless of the circumstance. Now pay attention to this part very closely, it's not your fault. It's mine and mine alone. I fell from the cliff, not you. Can't have you moping about with such a heavy burden of guilt, needlessly. Do you understand, Layla? It was an accident." He replied honestly.
