Anuerin closed the door as he walked outside. He nervously played with the loose end of gauze wrapped around his hands before looking to see where Nova would take him.

Nova gave him a smile then started walking slowly. She wasn't sure which way to take him, but the beach seemed safe enough, so she headed that way.

Elliot slowly put the newspaper away in the car. He had been left with his sister after his parents died. He was supposed to protect her; that was his parent’s dying wishes. He had failed himself, his parent and his sister. Why couldn’t have Ryker have gotten her too? Why didn’t she just stay put where he had left her?

His heart had been shattered with a knife, and now his focus turned from loving Zoe to hating himself. He had always been a protective player person, as shown with Zoe, but that would backfire now. He would hurt himself everyday he could as a punishment. He felt as if he didn’t deserve to live after failing so gravely. He wiped away a sole tear, vowing to the heavens he would repay every ounce of blood his sister lost with his own precious drops. Anne was across the room, making observations on a clipboard, and she looked up when Alexis came in. There had been so many people in and out within the past hour that she just shrugged and went back to writing.

Alexis stepped closer, wringing her hands now that she had had just enough time to realize the pain she was causing her finger. "Is he asleep, or...?" She let the question linger as she glanced from the nurse to Dimitri.

Ok, his reaction sealed it, something in the paper had upset him deeply. Zoe scanned through the page he had been reading for clues. The article on the girl's death caught her attention but she wasn't certain it was pertaining to him in any way. She looked back to him after she read the page with a frown "Elliot, please, tell me what's wrong." She asked softly, not wanting to alert Asa that something was up.

"He's been in and out of consciousness" Casey said from the door, watching them then looking over to Dimitri "He still thinks he's fighting sometimes, so be careful if you go ear him and he wakes." He added then looked to Anne "I have to go, but if you need me, just send for me, alright?"
