Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Ellie frowned and looked at Samantha, "Well Why should I, I barely know him. I only wanted to say hello. I've always been invisible." She said quietly as she rolled up the bag of pretzels, she wasn't hungry anymore.

Lyra chuckled at Alexis joke and shook her head. "Hes not so bad, in fact I think he and I are a lot alike in that regards. " She said as she sat down on her bed and smiled over at Alexis. "We need snacks I think." She told her thoughtfully.
"It'll stay 'barely' if you keep that attitude up," Sam quipped. She was probably pushing it, but the girl had a tougher skin—no pun I tended—than she would've guessed. Plus, the teasing was plain fun. "As for the invisibility, that can be a good thing when you need it. I've managed to make myself known only when I like, now, and it's rather handy for sneaking around. But you've got to emerge on some occasions. Like now. Let's contradict yourself and you get over there and say hi, right and proper so he can hear you." She set her jaw, a smirk barely visible as she stared at Ellie, daring her to do so.

"Alike in the regard that you need snacks?" Alexis twisted her words jokingly. "Yes, I think so. Kid could use some more snacks, that's for sure. Let's go find something, then our evening shall commence!" She hopped up, scattering sheets in the process.

"Just the two of us, he went psycho a few years back and we haven't seen him since."
"Psycho—huh, sounds fun," Ares said, scoffing lightly under his breath. Louder, he said, "I'm sorry to hear that, man. Must be tough." Sorry to hear that, yes, but he tossed in the last bit for sentimental benefit for the boy. Ares definitely wasn't a sentimental guy himself.

(Shall we reboot it without all the drama and get the job done this time or just forget it? :idunno )
(I want to continue it, just haven't had time to search for the post. Should I pick up where we left off, or have Asa sneek off in the night and complete the mission on his own?)

Ellie looked up at Samantha then and narrowed her eyes. She didn't like being poked, not one bit. She looked over at Nick and the other girl and swallowed hard, she then turned to Samantha as she stood up. She was going to prove this woman wrong, she was going to prove that she could do it. She walked over to the other table and looked down at Nick a bit nervously but pushed a smile on her face. "Hi, i'm Ellie." She said to him as she swallowed her nerves.

Lyra laughed at that, "Yeah we all could use more snacks I'd say. Lets go find some and I will leave some at his door too just in case he too has a need of them. Good thinking." She said oblivious to that joking twist of words that Alexis had used.

(I searched for Hooded huntress post months ago and never found it, and asked her to help me locate it. She didn't, and after a while I stopped looking for it :/ I spent enough time searching for that post.)
(Shall we reboot it without all the drama and get the job done this time or just forget it? :idunno )
(ok. I've looked through hundreds of pages to assure we get the truth here. so RW this was your last post on the subject:

(I found my post. I don't think you replied to it, Hooded Huntress. I looked for you're reply but didn't see it, but it's possible I missed it.)

You did not ask me to look for it, so just wanted to clear that up, if you had asked, I would've helped. Now the reason I couldn't reply is because Elliot and Zoe were in separate rooms, so I couldn't interact there, and Asa was out in the hall on the phone. So I couldn't reply unless Asa entered the room.
I personally would reboot it without the drama, which was my fault. Apologies, that was on me and no one else. I envisioned my character progressing one way but I handled the situation wrong. I'm sorry. I would reboot it, but whatever you all think and would like to do is fine.)

(I vote reboot too. Anyone else? )

(Sorry for the confusion, I guess I thought about asking you to look for it so much that I was sure I did. When I get the chance I'll find my last post and add to that.)

"I wouldn't be the one to fail." Asa muttered knowing Ryker couldn't hear him.

"Better than I have in a long while." She answered with a sigh of contentment.
Asa shouted uncontrollably. Why did Ryker choose these two individuals for him to work with out of all the experienced soldiers he had in his control? Why was it decided he needed anyone's help, at all? Ryker knew he was perfectly capable of completing the mission himself. Taking a calming he walked out into where Elliot and Zoe were. "Go to bed, now," he ordered strictly, "we will be getting up early in the morning."

Anuerin tensed, his back naturally sensitive to touch. "Hardly." He answered honestly as the anesthetic set in.

(I'm having a hard time switching between playing Anuerin and Laurel. Do you mind if we pause them so we can focus on the surgery?)
"Whatever." Laurel muttered, rolling her eyes to see what Razeth would think.
(I want to pick this up now that we aren't focused on Anuerin's surgery.)
"What do you want to do now?" Laurel asked, her tone changing from pretend disinterest.

(I am feeling inspired today! Lets get this party started with four character posts :jumpy)
"Of course." Cyra answered with ease, an ease that didn't reassure Ioan like she had hoped. "What were you doing today between 2 and 3?" He questioned her gently. Cyra looked up in thought, not trying to figure out what she was doing at that time, but remembering what Indigo said she was doing then. "I was here, in my room. Indigo was helping me work through the problems I've been having in math." She carefully overlooked his features, trying to decipher whether he believed the lie or not. "Thank you, Cyra," He said after some silence. Ioan sighed sortly, not hearing what he expected to, but it was obvious he believed her word. "That's all I needed to know."

Ioan stood, hesitant to leave. He was convinced she wouldn't lie to him, yet he felt that Cyra knew something he didn't. He wondered what questions to ask for her to give him the information. Cyra had always been open to talk with, eager to help in whatever way she could, but since her attack she been moody and closed off. This was the first time he'd since a glimpse of her easy-going character. Ioan stooped at the door to pick up a white envelope that laid there. He opened the seal with a powerful sense of curiosity of the letter inside. He only registered a few random written words when Cyra pulled it from his hand. "Um, that's a letter.. from my boyfriend. We're very close, if you understand what I mean." Cyra explained with a furious blush. Ioan suddenly felt a little foolish. If they were really as close as she said he definitely not want to see what things were written about her in that letter. "Of course." He said abruptly as he waved her goodbye and slipped out into the hall.

Amaryllis' breathing faltered with waves of pain. She lowered herself and waited for the pain to be replaced with the refreshing feeling of strength that she was beginning to know. The moist air filled her lungs and she breathed deeply as the water absorbed into her skin and purified her physical form. She felt reborn. No words described the pure joy experienced deep in her inner being. This was what she always wanted; to feel strong and capable like everyone else. Even if it wasn't permanent.

Aralyn disagreed with her actions to the point of feeling sick deep in the pit of her stomach. They worked together once, they weren't even friends, and, yet, when she heard of Leverett's fall she felt a twinge of unfamiliar emotion, one powerful enough to overcome her instincts. She hesitated in front of the lab door. She ignored the whisperings that told her to leave and braved a quiet knock. No answer. A challenged sigh and she tried again, this time a succession of audible knocks.
(I found what I think is the last thing I wrote on Cyra. Honestly, it's been so long I'm having a hard time remembering.)
Cyra quickly closed the door as Ioan disappeared from her view. Locking the door for reassurance, she eagerly read the letter. She was confused, at first, by its meaning, but soon came to understand. She was glad she hadn't messed up, even if she hadn't read the letter before speaking with Ioan. Cyra was thrilled with the thought of how proud Indigo would be of her. Hiding the note under her matteress, she left her room in search of Indigo.
