Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

( @Run Wild this got buried ;) )
Ioan was pleased that Emily agreed that it would be best not to confine them. "Of course, I would be glad to help you. And, honestly, I would be glad to do something outside of this office.." He sighed, knowing he was only stacking up his priorities for later. He shuffled a few papers and stood with the notepad he showed her in hand.

Emily stood as well, smoothing her skirt down as she stood out of habit. She started to say what she had intended to say earlier, but stopped. He was so busy as it was, maybe it would be best to handle the issues Casey and Amara brought up on her own. "To the doctor's office we go, then," she said, forcing a smile as she turned to leave.

"If you don't want to be late for class, you'd best go get showed and get to the doctors office. Remember, he wanted to check your over again. " Indigo stated as he held Cyra's gaze. Curious as to where Cyra was thinking.

Dimitri grumbled but stood to leave. "Yeah, yeah. More pokes and prods. I feel like I'm in the lab again. Even if the doctor is intent on helping. " He said as he shut the door behind him. After a moment, Indigo asked, "What is it? "

Vasper walked in as indicated and glanced to Anuerin on the bed. He looked like a fallen angel asleep upon the bed. "They're bigger then I remember. That must have been an undertaking. " He said quietly as he turned to look to Amaryllis. He didn't know where she wanted the waters, so he held them for her still.
"Nothing." Cyra quickly defended. How could she speak of her affections for him for fear they wouldn't be returned? Was it possible, that in such a short time she'd fallen in love with him? A month ago her actions didn't depend on what others thought of her, but now she was under a spell. She would do anything for him, whether or not he loved her, if it meant making him happy.

Amaryllis closed the door, taking the waters from Vasper, setting two on the nightstand. She observed her brother for a moment before speaking. "I remember his wings like it was the day before today, but my yesterday is eight years of Anuerin's life that I missed. He's changed, and it scares me that I might never know what happened to him while I was away." She admitted emotionly. With a steadying breath she walked over to two cushioned, comfortable chairs that were arranged around a table. Taking a seat in one she drank the water slowly, looking at the card table thoughtfully as she remembered sleeping here when she missed her mom, Anuerin's company easing her grief.

Ruby nodded. "Remember how I'm supposed to feel more energy because of the whole chloroplast thing? I haven't felt any change. Is that simply because of the weakness of light in here?"

Ryker looked to Ruby as he came over. He noticed the lack of green to her complexion and asked, "You haven't been doing solar treatments? "
(His trusted creations live in individual rooms up stairs in the mansion above the lab. *The lab is subterranean* From what I read on her character sheet, she qualifies for that. :) )

(Blergh. Whoops. Let's just pretend I didn't post that. Also, I just realized I made her name Abigail, not Ruby. My fault. Too many rps :p)
Abigail shook her head. "Everything is going as you said it would. The energy and strength in the sun is more than I expected."

Zoe didn't take long to eat her meal, though she was slower than Asa. She got uo to throw her plate away and join him at the door soon after.
Asa loaded his luggage in the trunk and went to the front to seat himself in the passenger chair. He motioned to the driver, and the limo eagerly pulled out of the driveway. "Ioan has been told were government officials who need to authorize the students progress, and how well they are being cared for, but secretly we will be checking the building for faults in its security and getting loyal students of Ryker to prepare for an intake within the building, them will help Ryker to get inside." Asa explained casually, watching out the window. "There is too much to explain everything we will do, but we will use our position as a cover, and will manipulate Ioan if he questions our actions but reminding him the government withdrawn financial support if he refuses to cooperate." He smiled smugly to the couple for a brief second.

Elliot nodded, leaning forward with interest as he spoke. Once he was finished with the brief instructions, he sat back and pondered any questions he wanted to know the answer to. Once he found none, he returned his look out the window.

Leverett smiled and thanked her as he picked it up to take a sip. When he set it down, he looked to Layla and said without pretense, " There's nothing to figure out or even understand. That's just how I feel. I've been feeding the bad wolf and he's winning. The good one is down and struggling under the burden of his bad influence. How long until the person I was before is lost entirely to bitterness? "
Layla was not good with words, nor did she really know how to answer such a question. She felt a pang in her chest at it though, she wanted to help him she just didn't know how. "Leverett, I don't know how to answer that, or how to help you. I just know that I need to. I also know that you befriended me when everyone else ran the other way. You believed and saw good in me when there was little. If you can do that with me surely you can do so with yourself." She said as she searched his face, trying to see if what she had said made any sense to him. She leaned forward and hugged him gently, wanting to offer what comfort she could without hurting him.
