Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

(How dare you assume woman are more emotional than men!!! :he:mad: I can't believe you said that, it makes me....:hit*begins sobbing violently* (JK! :lau))
"I was afraid that you wouldn't like me if I told you the truth." She said with conviction, as she watched his expression closely for a sign that she shouldn't have spoken her thought aloud.

Amaryllis expression contorted in slight confusion as she looked at Vasper. For a second she couldn't believe what he said, but she realized he meant it. "You really think so?" She asked innocently.
(Girl, you're crazy. But then so am I. :highfive: lol! )
Indigo shook his head slightly and looked back at her searching gaze. "No, it's the opposite that's true. If you had lied to me, I would not of been very happy with you at all. You can lie to the world, but you better never lie to me." He said with conviction.
~~~
Vasper nodded as he said, "I don't think so, I know so. Just look what you've done with me. I'm still broken in some ways. I may always be, but in other ways, I'm stronger because of you."
"Wow, a get out of class free card. Can I get that in writing. " Dimitri tried to joke, but sighed as he stood up to go. "Alright, I promise. If I feel off for any reason, I'm coming right here." He confirmed as he headed for the door.
Michael chuckled at the joke and nodded. "I hope you don't have to, but it's there if you need it. See you around." He said then waved bye.
Emily stood as well, smoothing her skirt down as she stood out of habit. She started to say what she had intended to say earlier, but stopped. He was so busy as it was, maybe it would be best to handle the issues Casey and Amara brought up on her own. "To the doctor's office we go, then," she said, forcing a smile as she turned to leave.
Iris suggested simply "Start today, end tomorrow?" as she followed to do the same with the scraps left of her food.
Atalanta slid her plate into the bin for dishes and headed out of the dining hall. "Never a better time than the present," she said, tossing her hair over her shoulder. It was exactly an answer to the question, but it was all she was offering.
"That is what I hope." He answered, gaze drifting from the window. "It depends on the circumstances."
Zoe nodded and looked out the window, watching where they were going.
Elliot had kept his attention on the signs that they had passed, noting in his head the name of the location that the school was hidden in. It was going to be a little awkward, seeing people his age, wasn't it? Well that in itself wouldn't be awkward, but the fact that he was nineteen and already had a government job was a little suspicious. He spoke up in a simple manner, his suggestion directed to Asa "I suggest Zoe and I are interns perhaps, people who are and look like they're in their late teens and/or early twenties would most likely not have full government jobs."
Iris nodded in agreement, actualy pondering her statement some even though it was simply an answer to her question. She supposed it all depended. Sometimes the past could be better than the future would be or vice versa. It was all just a game of dice, really. She smiled, stating "She was in the garden, or at least near it. Let's go."
"Well, the whole eye thing is so weird." she said. "I can see footprints on concrete, and they have different shades, I think based on how long ago they were made. I can't be sure though. The wings are just as expected."
"Very well then," Nick said, pushing his plate away. "I'll ask you to stay. Will you stay?" He glanced at his plate. "Even though we're both done eating."
Alexis waved to Lyra from where she stood in the line to get breakfast.
Ellie smiled and nodded. "Now that wasn't so hard now was it, and yes I will gladly stay and keep you company."
Lyra saw Alexis and moved to get a tray and breakfast beside her. "Anything good this Morning?" She asked with a grin.
Leah didn't answer. Her thoughts had fallen victim to the maze of stars before her. There were what seemed to be countless diamonds contrasting the darkened sky, shiny vessels in a ocean of dark. She, as if it was involuntarily, snuggled closer to William, firmly against his side. After a few minutes of her silence, she whispered in a wonder she relived every night "It's beautiful." It was strange, like the sky cast a spell upon her, ushering away the thoughts of seeing the stars at night, only to do the same thing the night after and after.
William smiled at her fascination with the night sky, holding her closer as she gazed up at them. "yes it truly is, it has been sometime since I just looked up at the stars."
