Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"To end the mystery of what I said. In translation, it means, "My god, my dear!" Leverett said as he selected a bite to eat. After he chewed it and swallowed, he added, "See, I'm already teaching you French, Mon Cheri."
Layla chuckled at him and shook her head. "it seems like an very complex language. But I am happy to learn whatever you teach me. " she told him with a smile, she was happy to see him feeling at least a little better. He always seemed so positive and to see him so upset was hard.

Atalanta stepped out from under the overhang and peered around, focusing on the shadowed areas outside as she searched for movement. "She's probably still out here, then," she said quietly.
Iris turned to her with an amused look asking "You didn't see her just enter the library. Girl. Purple hair." Her attention was now on Atalanta, she didn't know if she had spotted her or if she was oblivious to the woman's appearance in the library.

(Girl, you're crazy. But then so am I. :highfive: lol! )
Indigo shook his head slightly and looked back at her searching gaze. "No, it's the opposite that's true. If you had lied to me, I would not of been very happy with you at all. You can lie to the world, but you better never lie to me." He said with conviction.

Vasper nodded as he said, "I don't think so, I know so. Just look what you've done with me. I'm still broken in some ways. I may always be, but in other ways, I'm stronger because of you."
"Yes, sir." She said respectfully, sounding distant. Cyra had said what she said to not offend him, and now she did the very thing she hadn't meant to do.

"You are strong on your own." Amaryllis stated sincerely. "I didn't make your strong, I only helped you to see what you are capable of."

Elliot had kept his attention on the signs that they had passed, noting in his head the name of the location that the school was hidden in. It was going to be a little awkward, seeing people his age, wasn't it? Well that in itself wouldn't be awkward, but the fact that he was nineteen and already had a government job was a little suspicious. He spoke up in a simple manner, his suggestion directed to Asa "I suggest Zoe and I are interns perhaps, people who are and look like they're in their late teens and/or early twenties would most likely not have full government jobs."
"Oh, I forget to mention." Asa looked up at the review mirror. "You will be the smart teenagers hired by the government to give information to things regarding people your age. Your not government officials, but you're paid to explore schools and other related buildings to point out faults in the system that may be overlooked by older people."

Zoe looked to him again then nodded "What title do we give?" She asked curiously

Elliot nodded. That made more sense. He then looked to Zoe, her question was one he wanted the answer to.

Priam set his empty plate on the tray he'd brought down. "It's strange, isn't it, this place," he mused. "There's nothing normal about it except for the fact that once you've been here long enough, you begin to accept it as normal." He shook his head slowly. He was probably making no sense and was likely boring her. "I'll leave you to finish," he said, stepping down from the bed.

Allen beckoned her into an alcove where they could talk without being heard. He wanted to point out that creating a place like this could hardly come without a few regrets, but he refrained. Instead, he nodded encouragingly for her to keep talking.

"You're darling for thinking I can be so faultless," Haley said, resting a hand on his arm, "but the truth is I've got plenty. Everyone does, just not everyone reveals them immediately."
"Please stay Prim. I like your company. Well, unless you have urgent matters elsewhere, that is. " Irene said politely. She looked to him as he slipped off the side of the bed to leave.

Ashton raised a brow and followed reluctantly. "What else do you want to know?" She asked curiously.

"That's probably good. If they did, it would send who they were trying to impress running for the hills." Dyrus said with amusement as they headed out to the main road back to the mansion.

Ioan moved forward to open the door for Emily. "Ladies first." He said, trying to return her smile, but he so physically exhausted he doubted he looked convincingly happy.
"Thank you," Emily said, smiling gratefully as she stepped past. She kept up a cheery face for his sake. The poor man probably hadn't had an hour to himself since he started this place. "I don't know if I've said this yet, but thank you for having me here," she said softly, turning to face him. "I was at a low point when I got your email asking if I was available, so it's much appreciated to not have only been given a job but a place to stay."
