I have some RCW code the officer gave me in regards to having him out here for my teenage son if I find them I will post them I am in Washington though not sure if they are the same for every state.....and it basically says you can use what ever force necessary to make them listen or punish for there age....you can not use a weapon or closed fist at any age however. So a smack in the face to a mouthy teenager is not illegal.

Same here except I never had bruises but a tender butt LOL! Thank God it was so rare! A firm voice from my Dad was plenty enough. Despite of the glaring looks from patrons, I am sorry but HAVE to disclipine my daughter for being disrespectful. Yesterday, I warned her and made sure she understands. She understood it and was a perfect angel!!!!!!
