You know, among all this, has anyone considered that if the parents can seem to win the battle with their out of control kids that neither will anyone else?
I dont pick fights with kids, theyre all looking for one these days- even at little ages. i find its simpler to just include them in on my world, since thats what theyre lacking at home these days anyway.
you start fighting with them, with hot wires, sprinklers, teenagers, and what not pretty soon you're the place in the neighborhood all the kids team up to pick at.
We have a guy like that in our neighborhood. Everyone here has always gotten on all with all feral children- we all parent them in our own way because theres just so many of them unsupervised all the time, and plus its just the decent thing to do. It makes to sense to punish them for being irritating when its the parents who are the real issue. Anyway, this one guy moved his family in here and made it a point to yell at the kids to stay away, to quiet down, to stop this stop that, called the police umpteen times, and let me tell you what- he's about this close to moving his family out of here.
Come cabbage night and haloween those kids just totally ruin his place every year.
The thing is, I pop my head out the door at 1030 pm when theyre noisy and obnoxious, call down the road to them and remind them theres babies sleeping, and low and behold they turn off the music, drive away, and go elsewhere.
Keep your enemies close, and you'll have fewer troubles.
