Chiloe Widgeon?

Oaky here are my questions:
1) are they cold hardy
2) do they fly
3) what do they eat
4) can more than one pair be keep together or if I can put other ducks in with them
5) do they go broody often
6) I saw these at meyers hatchery they where sold in pairs and I was wondering if anyone has ordered duck pairs from them
7) do they need a pen with plants in it

2) Yes they fly unless you by them pinioned

4) You can keep them in a mixed collection
5) Only in spring, if they do at all
6) Good price on them

7) yes, the more cover they have the safer they will feel and the greater chance of them going broody
