I will find out in a few weeks whether this bird is chimera or mosaic. On a chimera, one side will start developing like a rooster and the other like a hen. Way too soon for that although one side already appears to have the coloring of a cockerel and the other side of a pullet. I think it takes a few weeks to get the results back from genetic testing, anyway, so I will wait and see. I think even mosaics are pretty rare, especially ones like this one that are called "double siders".
