(tomorrow is day 21, but bein pullet eggs, I assumed they'd hatch a day early or so)

If there's no hatching by tonight, I guess I'll set em in a box w heatlamp and jar lid of water till the bator is ready... crappy planning on my part

My husband used to keep me stocked up on batteries. I stopped buying them a few years ago, because Bill always made sure I had them.

hmmmm I'm out and haven't been shopping sooooooo I think I should check and see what I have and what I have to replace..

I forgot to check the darn battery! What a moron.

Have to shop anyway. I ran out of lamp to steel light bulbs from, so guess I need to do that too. Light bulbs were my job to supply.

Mind is gone these days.

Big party later today. Hope I make it through it. I haven't even figured out what I have to wear!

Old age is kickin my behind.

lol i have 3 dif thermometers & they all read different two are close & on the bottom of bator & i stuck one to the window & its like 5 degrees lower than other 2. so do i take the middle of the 2 that are similar or the middle of lowest reading & highest reading???

The one stuck on the window is probably lower because that is usually a cooler spot. I would think the two inside ones would be closest, and I would keep the eggs away from the window if I could.

yea they will be closer to the bottom than the top & it has a fan.
would it be better to have another fan inside & if so where should i put it.
