I am peeved beyond belief at myself right now

Unplugged it, float tested the eggs (day 12) the few that were leakers were bad, the others floated, so they all went into my other Brinsea, with my other batch of eggs. Ugh. I feel like a horrible hatcher

I did get to play Incubator Tetris though... that was interesting

No fear for tyhe temp spike. eggs are hardier than you'd think.

It had been holding steady 110 since I set them 12 days! I wish it was just a temp spike! The cheapy thermometer the Eco20 came with read wrong, it showed just under 100deg the whole time... no wonder my last hatch from my barnyard mixed flock was 0... I cooked em

I got one egg thats supposed to hatch, set in that bator, and its holding steady now at 100.4 for the last 4 hours with 60% humidity. So hopefully it stays that way. I tried lowering it, just bumped the lil thing with a flat tip screwdriver, and it went down to 96.

My other one, stuffed full of eggs is showing a temp of 100.9 (thermo/hygro on top of eggs, only spot for em) and holding steady. I can't get it any lower, or it plumets to 98.1*

Justtoni, here's a thread on it https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=436195 I just used them floating as a general guideline. I really don't expect ANY of the BLRW eggs to hatch, as the few that were duds I opened and checked were a little bit cooked. And, FWIW, I'm still VERY new at incubating, this is only my 3rd try, so take what I say with a grain of salt LOL
