That's what i just bought! It's by "All Living Things" and the thermometer is perfect.. The hygrometer is about 2% off.. I can definitely deal with that!

Do you use just this one or do you use a couple at a time? I have used up to 3 and my temps look spot on, but I have late hatches. Humidity??? I may just calibrate, but I'm thinking start new.

Even brand new, I calibrate a hygrometer, and I have yet to find one that is spot on.

ETA: I also calibrate after every hatch too, because they do wear out pretty quickly.

This is a generous offer. I have also had people offer me eggs and also hope to be able to do the same in the future.

I only have freeloaders at the moment.

Do you use the salt in the bag method or do you have another?

HI everyone,
Had time to check in to say...."IM IN"
and thats all.
Will likely have to grab some of my own eggs as it is getting a little late for shipping.
And I think I spent my whole years budget for Christmas hatch lol
I have some nice breeds but they are all running together right now.
Anyway, I'm excited.enjoyed the NYH so much and really learned a lot.
Lost a chick yesrday and do not have a clue why...
All seemed fine when I checked about 2 hrs. before.they have not
packed up to sleep................it was just dead in the corner of the box.
It was small compared to the others.but appeared to be doing fine eating and drinking......
Just hate that.
I used two hydrometers last hatch.both calibrated and on target.
About two days before lock down, one read 10 degrees off from the other.....
Darned things are frustrating........
I lost two eggs, one shrink wrapped, the other had the air cell full of liquid.
Anyway, onward and upward with a new hatch and new hope..........

1/2 cup salt and 1/4 water stirred in a mug. Seal that and the hygrometer in a baggie for 12 hours. It should read 75% but won't, so you need to adjust your humidity from there. If it reads 65%, then you adjust accordingly. If it calibrates at 65%, and during your hatch it says 35%, it is really 25%..... Got it?
