When Bill was alive he wouldn't eat our eggs! He'd buy from the feedstore though because they had huge double yolkers. He said he had seen where ours came from so couldn't eat them! DUH!


He has a brother who won't eat the yolks because he thinks they're baby chickens.................huh

When I would bring in eggs, Bill'd always ask what I was hatching next. LOL When I found my Sportman on CL he drove hours to pick it up and fixed it since there were no trays. That thing broke down the day he died (full of eggs) and nothing I've done has gotten it to work. New parts, nothin. It has to be something so simple I'm missing it.

I got left out on the list.Set 8 mixed eggs Wednesday evening.
Just got message that my shipped eggs have arrived. Will need to let them settle so thwy will miss the contest.
Can't wait to get home to check them out.

I think you were the one that mentioned it on the NYD thread and I told you great idea. I did give anyone who wanted a chance to do the thread, but figured since the time was close I'd start one. Was going to do this anyway on my own, but this is a lot more fun.

I'm having a serious identity problem the past couple of days. Bill and I LOVED being Aquarians and now I'm supposed to be a Capricorn??? Nope sorry, I'm staying as I am. Once your Aquarius, you're always Aquarius! I fit it too well, down to the weird ideas and spaciness. Anyone else upset with the changing of the signs???

OH and yes a contest page would be great!

i'm totally fine with it and I was totally joking. Just thought you'd like to know.

Sorry to hear about your sportsman... I would say it's definitely something simple that you are missing and when you find it, you are gonna kick yourself for it.. lol... Hmmm... Heating element.. did you replace that? Wiring.. Did you make sure there were no loose connections, not chewed through by maybe a rodent, maybe a wire was old and eroded? Hmm... Have never seen or had a sportsman... Does it have fuses? Just trying to think of some things I would be checking first... Just trying to give you ideas...
