Chinese quail dead

I hatched chixks from incubator and when they were about 3 week old, someone can to buy off me. They came and took 2 of the quail out of the 27, when they got home in the car, both eventually passed away at night. what could be the reason for this. Maybe travel sick, stress???

Were they providing heat on the ride? At 3 weeks chicks can still get cold.

yes. when they got home, they provided heat however they were moving away from heat lamp?!?!
