Here are pictures of our male Rouens beak. It's like chapped and chipping. It's been an extremely cold first winter for our two ducks, and us as new duck owners. Is this something I need to be concerned about? Is there something I can do? The females beak seems to be fine.

If you don't put water in their house at night you might try smoothing some triple antibiotic on his bill, if he has water he'll probably just rinse it off eventually, My Muscovy drake has frost bite on his knob on his face and I wait till I put him to bed to spray his face with Veterycin other wise he's got his head right in the bucket. It has been a rough winter.

Thanks for the response. I do keep water in their run 24/7. I noticed lately they've been digging their beaks in the snow and eating it. Where would I get an antibiotic cream for animals?
