Ah fun and games with weather. They will be fine all huddled up with mum if they peek (is that the right term?). I had fun and games last night, decided to 'demite' the whole flock (couple didnt look too good and probably just moulting) so can you imagine me with chooks in the house - sprinkling dust on each of them - some spook and set the rest off - dust EVERYWHERE!! LOL Label says not to breathe in - darn - had no show - hope its okay... Lovely talking with you and look forward to your updates (any chance of photos?)

Nope ... it's slowed down on its chirping too... should I help?

From what my friend told me. Never ever ever help.
I know it must be hard not to, and I know I would have the same problem as you not helping.

Im guessing you already checked, but is your humidity nice and high? I know that helps make the shells softer and easier for them.

oh man... I'm getting anxious reading this. I've never hatched eggs before. Heck, my chickens still haven't even laid eggs... But I bet I would be the same as you. Can't wait to see your fresh baby chick

no. go read a book. watch a movie. play candyland with the kids. do something. anything. walk away from the incubator. check it in the morning. and then do nothing. go to work.
