Oh how exciting, it’s me again! I know I’ve popped up some here and there throughout this past year, but I’ve decided I really want to re-involve myself with this community as much as I can. I figured the best way to do that would be making a thread to re-introduce myself since it’s been such a long time.
If you already know me, then you know I used to be a very active member of this community (maybe too much so lol) and honestly I’ve missed it. If we haven’t met though, or haven’t interacted in a long time, I hope we can get to know each other some.
My name is Ryan, but I guess you can just call me CHlCKEN (which is spelled CHLCKEN with a lowercase L, and yes, that decision has haunted me ever since it was made). Or call me both- I’m not too picky about it.
I’m working to become a veterinary surgeon (oh the years of school!) and am still trying to decide whether or not I want to pursue an avian specialty or not. One of my biggest passions is photography, so prepare yourselves for a lot of photos to be posted. I also do a ton of art and would love to see others’ work if they are interested in sharing.
Right now I have 11 chickens and 3 ducks, not housed together. I’ve got 3 cats too but you’ll probably hear most (and a lot) about my little barn cat, Ranger. Here are some photos of everyone:
If anyone was wondering, yes, Joy is still kickin’ it at almost eight years old now.
Again, if we haven’t met yet, please feel free to introduce yourself. I’m happy to be friends with anyone no matter your personal identity or beliefs. Tell me about yourself. I’m always open to chat when I’m around- just know that I’m a pretty extroverted person with a tendency to ramble if given the chance.
