It is my grandmas pool, and she has a pool man maintain it. I wouldn’t want to cause someone else a headache. She does have wild ducks visit occasionally and she loves them, she thinks they’re peaceful to watch and said she would love to watch ours- but I will warn her against it.
Many are watered every day from city water. Without incident or illness .Can't see where an occasional duck dip would hurt . But I wouldn't want them to be all the time in the pool .Either way granny got a pool man to keep it clean .Wind and rain can carry algae spores from one body of water to another . I wouldn't want ducks in the pool right after an algae treatment. The other water balance chemicals shouldn't hurt them since most are used to purify city water .
