Chlorinated Pool

It is my grandmas pool, and she has a pool man maintain it. I wouldn’t want to cause someone else a headache. She does have wild ducks visit occasionally and she loves them, she thinks they’re peaceful to watch and said she would love to watch ours- but I will warn her against it.

Unless you never want to swim in the pool again, it's fine.

They're ducks  Many are watered every day from city water. Without incident or illness .Can't see where an occasional duck dip would hurt . But I wouldn't want them to be all the time in the pool .Either way granny got a pool man to keep it clean .Wind and rain can carry algae spores from one body of water to another . I wouldn't want ducks in the pool right after an algae treatment. The other water balance chemicals shouldn't hurt them since most are used to purify city water .

Well I suppose up until the we move and only once a week at most we may let the ducks take a dip for less than 30 minutes.

I read that chlorine doesn't hurt them unless they drink a lot of it. But I mean, we as humans would probably get sick from drinking a lot of chlorine too y'know? But the 'pool getting dirty' factor is definitely the main reason ducks shouldn't swim in pools. I've been wanting to take my ducks over to my grandpas for them to have a dip... I think as long as it's not a constant thing and they do not drink too much of the water that it would be fine. Maybe not once a week, maybe once a month like you said!

Also the video is ADORABLE! They look so happy! And when she tried to eat your toes :gig
