Well I contacted hoovers and they told me that they breed a choclate male to a black female. And that there choclate are more of a black with a choclate undertone. Not a true choclate so I guess I should've asked before I ordered. However. I am going to find a true choclate one next year when I get chicks lol....but I like her temperament to much to get rid of her so she will stay :)

I have some Chocolate Orpingtons that are about the same age as (or a little younger than) your chick. They are all chocolate except one who is black. I noticed it right away I got them.
