Good looking bird... but yeah, not blue... almost looks like a dilute lav.
He's Platinum Mahonri, Platinum is the result of a double dilution, Dun "combined" with Blue.
He does look sort of steely gray/lavender in color in person, but he looks richer in hue than any Lavender bird I have seen. That's the only way I can describe the difference, every Lavender bird I have seen just looks pale and washed out.
to get a better laced bird you need to have really good laced Blues and Chocolate birds.
