Chocolate Laced Blue?

Good looking bird... but yeah, not blue... almost looks like a dilute lav.

He's Platinum Mahonri, Platinum is the result of a double dilution, Dun "combined" with Blue.

He does look sort of steely gray/lavender in color in person, but he looks richer in hue than any Lavender bird I have seen. That's the only way I can describe the difference, every Lavender bird I have seen just looks pale and washed out.

to get a better laced bird you need to have really good laced Blues and Chocolate birds.

It looks like Mauve can vary in hue and intensity of color just like Blue does, which makes sense.

I REALLY like the color.

Yes.

If you have proper lacing like in andalusians you could get a chocolate laced blue.

The splashes on a platinum bird (Bl/bl+,I^d/i+) are chocolate colored instead of black as in a splash (Bl/Bl) or a blue (Bl/bl+) chicken.
