Hey there all,

I hope this day finds you and your families well! Hey, is chocolate bad for chickens and ducks like it is for dogs? We have some chocolate cereal that has gone bad, and with other cereals they just love it, but I am hesitant with this kind to throw it over the fence to them.

I wouldn't recommend feeding them ANY cereal. I know they love it but it's the equivalent of tossing Twinkies to your toddlers every day.

I'm with ya Tonya...it isn't their staple, just treats so it isn't a whole bunch either..

Chocolate is toxic to birds. That said, I doubt there's any actual chocolate in cereal... check the ingredients.
