see peeps how dark the rp's are. Coral blue can never be left out she is always trying to be in the middle of everything

Hmmm in those pics, I don't see any pearling in the flank area on your RPs

Might just be the pics/lighting, but If there's no pearling on them then they're Violets.

Peeps, you have super guinea hero x-ray vision because I looked at the pictures of my White over and over and I didn't see any pearling. Can you shoot and swing from webs too? LOL. However, I did go out to the pen and sit to watch the white guinea, and saw the pearling right away. It's faint, but there, and mostly on his flanks. So, with that knowledge, what would you guess the little guy is?

We've had about a week of dark skies and on an off rain, and the pens have been soggy, so I haven't gotten additional pictures. I know it will help ID so I WILL DO THAT. I promise. Today is sunny with a blue sky, and I'm not working much and definitely ignoring the dishes.

There pearled. And do you think opaline or porcelain?
If it started out with markings of (a fully pearled) Buff Dundotte as a keet, but got lighter as it matured then it's still a Buff Dundotte IMO, just a lighter/more diluted one lol.

But if it was misidentified as a keet and then developed a light/faint blue tint to it's feathers as it matured (still being fully pearled) then I'd consider it to be a Porcelain. It's highly doubtful that a fully pearled bird would change into a partially pearled bird, so I'd completely rule out the possibility of it being an Opaline.

It's really hard for me to guess on colors/IDs just by going on pics... cuz pics don't always give an accurate image of how a bird's pearling or colors actually look in person. I need to know or see what the bird looked like as a keet (head stripes and color), plus I'd need to see good clear pics of the bird for me to be able to be more accurate, sorry

If Ralph looked at the bird, then I'd go with what he says... he's the professional, lol.
