I'm not sure this is the right place to post this, but seeing as how I've got a chick with the Wry Neck issue going on 6 days now, I might not be thinking the most clearly.

NOTE: We're aware of just about everything available for treatment and the dosages (Vit-E w/ Selenium, Vit-B complex, etc), holistic treatments and home brews, massage, and have even run across a woman just yesterday from the country in North Carolina tell us that a shot of Jack Daniels cured a chick of hers with wry neck years ago - don't know about that, but let's focus here on Choline only please...

In the last 12-24 hours, I've run across a number of sources of information that say that Choline is essential, along with about a dozen other nutrients, for chick development. Several sources have statements like this: "...the transmission agent for impulses along the sympathetic nervous system." Here's another: "...it helps in the formation of an excitatory neurotransmitter-acetylcholine, which is responsible for the proper functioning of the nervous system and maintains its harmony."

If Wry Neck is neurological, wouldn't a supplement that assists the nervous system be pretty much required treatment? What are your thoughts and opinions? Thank you!

Her'es a quick description of what Choline is and what it does, and there is MUCH more out there:
