Chook Chook Sound

I have one chick that I'm guessing may be a cockerel who is 4 1/2 weeks old, 5 weeks on Monday, that has stopped peeping like the rest and is making a sound like "chook, chook". Took me picking each up to eliminate who was making that sound. I always know when that one is talking! Is this a normal progression to it's grown up voice?

It doesn't look like a rooster at the moment, it is probably just finding it's adult voice.

They go from one day peeping to the next day clucking. It doesn't mean it's a cockerel, and by the looks of the pale comb, it's a pullet.

Post a better photo. Is it an Ameruacana chick?

The bottom photos I am thinking Cockerel...The top one looks pullet....I have just spent all afternoon sexing 4 1/2 week old Ameruacanas and Speckled sussex.....32 of the little Road runners!!! lol

Take a better photo of the top one....Looks a bit jaunty in its stance to be a pullet???
