Choose a quail egg to root for!

Yes it is. I got some colors this hatch that I’m kinda excited about 3 of them look like my first roo the white one with black spots and I’ve been trying to hatch some more of him since I started hatching my eggs and haven’t got any but these ones look how he did as a baby so crossing my fingers.

I wish I knew more about colors and genetics, I too have tried crossing certain colors and they never turn out like I'd like.

Yeah with quail even if you breed the same exact colors together you never know what you’re going to get it’s like throwing them in a random generator.

I always think of it as a Christmas present, you never know what you are gonna get, you may or may not like it.

I also wish I knew more. That has happened to me a lot too! Quail seem to be even more unpredictable that chickens!
