Choosing a Male

Thanks. I'm definitely going to keep the all white one. The other male is a bit skinny and doesn't look like a good 'meat bird'. I kinda hope the aggressive one is a male then I can dispatch it. Would seem a shame to dispatch my biggest hen!

So weighed the birds today. I'm pretty sure I have 6 girls and 2 boys. Boys are separate and have been crowing away.

Luckily for me, the aggressive one ISN'T my heaviest 2 spot (A). So glad. It's a shame the skinny male (scar face) is so skinny... not going to make for good eatings :-(

Also, apologies for the potentially offensive name one of my birds has!

Well, looks like I was right. Found these today. First ones! I processed the other 4 quail that I didn't want to keep. That was sad. Eggies cheered me right up!
