Another thing remember all birds, wants a high point either in a cage or on a tree. So making him go to the bottom of the cage, is a sign of weakness being a bird, he will climb up his cage even if he has no perch, he will use the bars of the cage and stay there. So using a plastic tub he cannot climb up.
Oh the meds, if you are outing meds in his water, make sure he is drinking it. They will stop drinking water if its a funny taste in it, keep an eye out on that, you might have to give him a syringe of that meds, talk with your vet before trying this!!!!

Yeah I know abut the high perch thing, thats why I wanted to put him in the cat carrier but if tthe vet said he was okay, I guess he should be okay.
She vet nurse said he should drink it as long as theres no other source of water, He had a drink when I held it up to him, but I havent been home today to check if hes been drinking.

haha sometimes he gets quite clingy and i cant even put him down..
I'm lucky he's such a good boy, and so is he, We can trust him enough to take him outside and let him walk around on the grass or sit on top of our small chicken coop while we do stuff outside.
Yes people always tell me how pretty he is, his blue gets dulled down a lot in photos but he really is quite a bright color. he'll be even more pretty when he gets his ring, I think he's going to be a very handsome boy.
