Chose a Halloween chicken monster egg - Hatch-Along

They are going to be put in this cabinet brooder. With the 2 smallest "spin the wheel" chicks.
All lights are secured, and 60 watt or less. Same ones used in last 3 batches.

Speaking of monster eggs, I will set these double Yorkers next. Just these 2. I don't expect them to hatch, but I never get doubles and these were given to me.

Most double eggs just make it to day 10, I had a triple that made it to 17.

My sapphire splash laid some massive double yolkers- 76g was the biggest - when she was first laying. I'm curious if an egg that large could successfully support twins, both yolks were a decent size when I cracked it.

Its rare that twins hatch, there just isn't enough room for 2 babies in one egg, but occasionally someone will get a double to hatch!
