They get to raise the silkie babies.

George sure is a "take charge" kind of chick!

I decided to trade out Fanny for Dani also a girl, because I wanted the dark chicks to be rehomed. So I still have Fanny who is peach colored with a 5th toe.
Well some of the dark chicks.

I traded for these eggs.

the guy got chicks from me before.
And hens. The blue eggs may be nn I hope.

These people traded the chicks for more eggs. I hope the blue ones will be NN.

George is still caring for young babies, George will join the others his age when the new chick eggs hatch, then the babies he was watching will join the new chicks when they get their sea legs.
