Ok, just looked it up, my ignorance I guess. I always read the KJV 1611
as the standard. Bad Catholic PC, BAD!
The Catholic church produces it's own books and texts for Sunday mass
and religeous education. One of the things I always liked about some
other churches is the pastor tells the follower to open to a particular
passage from their and preaches from that. That's cool.
Now I asked my 8 year old Catholic school boy son and he said they
use the Good News Bible and the New American Bible in his class.
