Last December was the first year that we had the chickens. DH was okay with me decorating the yard surrounding the coop and run, he balked at putting lights and decorations on the coop itself though saying, "what are the neighbors going to think?" It's a year later and I think he's pretty much seen it all, from chicken diapers, to chickens getting bathed in the tub, to a sick chicken sleeping in a basket next to our bed, He knows our neighbors already think we're nuts so how much worse can it get? Maybe the girls will have a sparkly, festive Christmas coop this year, lol.
